STUDENTS WILL ACQUIRE A KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORLD OF CINEMA AND THE RELATION BETWEEN THE MOVIES AND CONTEMPORARY WORLD. MOREOVER, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO MASTER A METHOD THAT WILL LET THEM TO INTERPRET THE FILMIC TEXT, EDUCATE THEIR FEELING AND THEIR CRITICAL SENSE AND TO LEARN AND ANALYZE FILM WORKS. |

CINEMA IS THAT FORM OF COMMUNICATION, AND SOMETIMES ART, WHICH HAS CHARACTERIZED THE TWENTIETH CENTURY AND THIS EARLY YEARS OF OUR CENTURY. SINCE ITS BEGINNINGS, IT HAD A CLOSE CONTACT WITH SOCIAL AND HISTORICAL EVENTS, ABSORBING AND IN TURN INFLUENCING ITALIAN SOCIETY. THIS COURSE AIMS TO ILLUSTRATE THIS CHARACTERISTICS, THROUGH LECTURES, FILMS OF AUDIOVISUAL MATERIALS (FICTION AND DOCUMENTARIES), ANALYSIS OF MOVIES AND OTHER TEXTS. |
