Qualified in Engineering activities (1976).
Current Position:
Full professor in Design and Management of Industrial Plants (since 1994).
MAIN RESEARCH INTERESTS
Author of several national and international publications.
Responsible for research projects funded by MURST – CNR – Regione Campania – University of Salerno.
The research activities have been conducted in the following areas:
Technical - economical issues in automation of discrete industrial processes;
Process simulation;
Vision system in not-structured industrial environment;
Time, cost and quality optimization in planning and management of complex industrial systems;
Use of parametric costs in evaluation of planning costs;
Maintenance in industrial systems;
Factory Planning and Control in complex manufacturing environment;
Ergonomic analysis across Digital Factory approach;
Applications of Digital Factory approach in optimization of manufacturing activities;
Virtual Reality system in Product Developed and Production Planning.
Virtual Factory applications for logistic optimization;
Supply chain optimization methods;
Production costs and scheduling of Additive Manufacturing.
