Giancarlo NOTA Curriculum

Giancarlo Nota is Associate Professor at Department of Computer Science, University of Salerno. He has 25 years experience in Software Engineering encompassing many areas of research such as: specification languages of software systems, workflow management systems, project and risk management.
In recent years, his research interest about methodological, organizational, and technological issues has been oriented to pursue innovation in the fields of project and knowledge management with applications to networks of organizations.
Giancarlo Nota has been project manager of many business process reengineering projects. He is also involved in developing actions to promote process innovation and knowledge management especially in universities and local governments.
Since the 2011, in cooperation with PMI-SIC (Project Management Institute – South Italian Chapter), his latest efforts have been devoted the creation of the “Project and Knowledge Management” workshop that is now an annual reference for researchers and practitioners in the field of Project and Knowledge Management.
