The course aims to provide a firm digital grounding which, once the student has assimilated the theories behind multi-media productions and their principal technical-methodological characteristics, will allow an analysis of and the ability to use the field’s state-of-the-art applications. This in turn will allow the creation of productions suited to the on-going development of the sector. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING The course aims to introduce the fundamental principles behind the working of an electronic computer and the Internet as well as the main methodologies and technologies in the production and exploitation of multi-media content in digital format. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING The student will be able to grasp the functional parameters associated with multi-media productions and learn to use the principal applications available on the market to support the making of multi-media artefacts. The student will be able to apply the knowledge gained both to the artistic field, an area where multi-media productions can make a significant contribution to enhancing artistic communication, and to various professional disciplines requiring the use of similar tools. |
