MICHELE GUIDA Innovative Physical Technologies for Sustainable Cultural Heritage Conservation & Preservation
This BIP aims to equip students with advanced knowledge of Innovative Physical Technologies (IPT) for the sustainable conservation of cultural heritage, using a blended teaching approach that combines teamwork and on-site activities.
Through a challenge-based learning model, students will collaborate on projects under the guidance of tutors from partner universities. They will also participate in lectures, workshops, and visits to cultural heritage sites, creating a transdisciplinary learning experience.
Where
The program will take place in person at the University of Salerno's Department of Information Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Applied Mathematics. It is coordinated by Michele Guida in collaboration with four other European universities.
When
The in-person training will take place from June 16 to 20, 2025 (5 days).
The virtual component will consist of a series of lectures totaling 20 hours, conducted via Microsoft Teams.
