Teaching Methods | |
---|---|
THE COURSE IS CHARACTERIZED BY A SOLID AND RIGOROUS SETTING REGARDING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF THE DESIGN ON INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND BY A DYNAMIC APPROACH, WITH MANY CASE STUDIES, FOR WHAT CONCERNS THE HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEMS. SPECIFICALLY, REGARDING THE DESIGN OF HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEMS, THERE WILL BE MOMENTS FOR THE DISCUSSION AND DEPTH STUDY OF ISSUES RELATED TO THE IMPACT OF THE ICT IN THE HEALTHCARE. IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE TO THE FINAL ASSESSMENT AND TO GAIN THE CREDITS CORRESPONDING TO THE COURSE, THE STUDENT MUST HAVE ATTENDED AT LEAST 70% OF THE HOURS OF ASSISTED TEACHING ACTIVITIES. |
Verification of learning | |
---|---|
THE LEVEL OF ACHIEVEMENT OF THE TEACHING OBJECTIVES IS CERTIFIED BY PASSING AN EXAM WITH ASSESSMENT IN THIRTIES. THE EXAM CONSISTS OF A PRACTICAL TEST AND AN ORAL TEST. THE PRACTICAL TEST CONSISTS OF THE REALIZATION, THE PRESENTATION AND THE AUTOMATIZATION OF A PROCESS ON SPECIFIC (METHODOLOCIAL AND/OR TECHNOLOGICAL) TOPICS, RELEVANT FOR THE WORLD OF HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEMS. THE ORAL TEST AIMS AT THE VERIFICATION OF THE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE COURSE ARGUMENTS AND IT FORESEES ALSO A PRESENTATION OF THE RESULTS OF THE PROJECT REALIZED BY THE STUDENT DURING THE PRACTICAL TEST. IT WILL BE EVALUATED, BESIDES THE ANSWERS ACCURACY, THE PRESENTATION, THE PROPER USE OF THE LANGUAGE/TERMINOLOGY, AND THE MATURITY LEVEL OF THE STUDENT IN THE USE OF THE METHODOLOGIES, METHODS, AND TECHNIQUES FOR THE DESIGN OF AN INFORMATION SYSTEM WITH LOW COMPLEXITY. THE OVERALL EVALUATION OF THE SINGLE STUDENT EQUALLY CONSIDERS THE PRACTICAL TEST AND THE ORAL TEST. THE PROJECT REALIZED IN THE PRACTICAL TEST CAN BE USED FOR THE EXAMS OF THE ENTIRE ACADEMIC YEAR. HONORS MAY BE ATTRIBUTED TO STUDENTS WHO PROVE THAT THEY HAVE EXCELLENT MASTERY OF THE COURSE CONTENT TOGETHER WITH THE ABILITY TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED FOR THE RESOLUTION OF PROBLEMS NOT ADDRESSED DURING THE COURSE. |
