PERSONAL INFORMATIONS
Born in Benevento on February 22nd 1964.
EDUCATION
In 1987 graduate degree in Computer Science Summa cum Laude from the University of Salerno.
In 1993 PhD degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Napoli.
CURRENT POSITION
Full Professor (SSD INF01) since November 2011.
PAST POSITIONS
Associate Professor (SSD INF01) ) at the University of Salerno from December 2000 to October 2011.
Associate Researcher (SSD INF01) at the University of Salerno from July 1991 to November 2000.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
His research interests are mainly in the field of:
- design and analysis of algorithms
- economics and computation
- social networks and complex systems
- design and implementations of secure communication protocols.
In the past he was also interested in parallel computing and combinatorial optimization.
He's member of the GAS research group (Games, Algorithms and Security) at the Computer Science Department.
He served as referee for several international conferences and eminent scientific journals.
