Full Professor of Electrical and Electronic Measurements

He took the MS degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Naples, Italy in 1986. He was a PhD Student from 1986 to 1989 at the University of Naples and received the PhD in Electrical Engineering in 1990. He was an assistant professor of Electrical and Electronic Measurement at the University of Salerno, Italy, (1991-1999), an Associate Professor of Electrical and Electronic Measurement at the University of Salerno (1999-2001), and has been a Full Professor of Electrical and Electronic Measurement at the University of Salerno since 1/11/2001. Chief of the Measurement Laboratory of the DIIIE, since 1/11/1992. He has been lecturer ever since of a number of university courses of Electronic Measurement, Measurement Instrumentation, Fundamental of Measurement and Virtual Instrumentation for the MS degree of Electronic Engineering and Chemical Engineering at the University of Salerno. Currently he teaches the courses of Electronic Measurements and Virtual Measurement Systems for the MS degree in Electronic Engineering. From September 2002 to 2005 he was member of the "Scientific and Technical Committee of the Campania Region Governor". Scientific coordinator of research financed by public (MIUR, MISE, PON, region) and private bodies. He is senior member of IEEE and member of national and international journals' editorial boards. He is founder of two spin-offs of the University of Salerno: "SPRING OFF srl" (he's also its CEO from 2008) and "Metering Research srl".

He co-authored more than 140 papers international journals and conference proceedings.
