THE COURSE ENABLES STUDENTS TO DEEPEN THE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT DIGITAL INSTRUMENTATION FOR THE ANALYSIS OF CIRCUITS, SYSTEMS AND NETWORKS, AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF AUTOMATED MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS. ------------------------------------------------- THE COURSE IS DELIVERED WITHIN THE LABVIEW ACADEMY INITIATIVE SUPPORTED BY NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS. AT THE END OF THE COURSE, STUDENTS WILL HAVE THE CHANCE TO TAKE A TEST IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THE "CERTIFIED LABVIEW ASSOCIATE DEVELOPER" (CLAD) CERTIFICATION, WHICH INTERNATIONALLY CERTIFIES KNOWLEDGE AND BASIC SKILLS WITH THE LABVIEW DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT. |
Prerequisites | |
---|---|
FOR THE SUCCESSFUL ACHIEVEMENT OF OBJECTIVES THE STUDENT MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING PREREQUISITES: KNOWLEDGE OF THE METROLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND THE USE OF MEASURING INSTRUMENTS, THE EVALUATION OF MEASUREMENT UNCERTAINTY; KNOWLEDGE OF ISSUES RELATED MEASURES, THE ABILITY TO DEFINE ALGORITHMIC FORM THE SOLUTION OF A PROBLEM. |

THE COURSE INCLUDES LECTURES AND LABORATORY EXERCISES. DURING THE LAB, STUDENTS, DIVIDED INTO WORKING GROUPS, IS ASSIGNED A PROJECT TO BE DEVELOPED. THE PROJECT INCLUDES ALL TEACHING CONTENT IN A UNIFIED MANNER AND ENABLES STUDENTS TO ACQUIRE THE ABILITY TO DESIGN, REALIZATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF AUTOMATED MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS. |
Verification of learning | |
---|---|
THE ASSESSMENT OF THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE OBJECTIVES WILL BE AN ORAL EXAM, WHICH INCLUDES ALSO THE DISCUSSION OF THE PROJECT DEVELOPED BY THE STUDENT DURING THE COURSE. |
