Full Professor of Private Law at the University of Salerno, he teaches also Sport Law. Vice-President of the Scuola Superiore dell’Avvocatura and member of the Italian Bar Council. He has published extensively in the field of Information Communication Technology Law, Law of Torts, Law & Policy. Former member of the Scientific Committee of the Consiglio Superiore della Magistratura and of the Agency for the Third Sector. He is co-director of the reviews “Comparazione e Diritto Civile” and “Comparative Law Review” and member of the Scientific Board of “Il Diritto dell'Informazione e dell'Informatica”, “Rivista di Diritto ed Economia dello Sport”, "Rassegna di diritto civile".Board member of the Italian Association of Comparative Law, co-founder of the Italian Academy of the Internet Code and director of the IN.DI.CO. research laboratory (Information - Law – Communication) at the University of Salerno. He is also member of the "Società italiana per la ricerca nel diritto civile" (SIRDIC) and of the "Associazione italiana dei civilisti" . He also collaborates, as a journalist, with several national newspapers and TV channels.
