- Phenomenology and models for systems with coupled bosonic and fermionic degrees of freedom in connection with the study of the pseudogap phase in high critical temperature superconductors
- Phenomenology of electron-doped high-Tc superconductors
- Exact diagonalization techniques on finite-size clusters for strongly correlated electron models as well as for models with coupled bosonic and fermionic degrees of freedom
- Normal and superconducting properties of strongly correlated electron systems described i terms of the Hubbard and the periodic Anderson model
