KNOWLEDGE AND COMPREHENSION: THE SCOPE OF THIS COURSE IS TO TEACH THE BASIC ORGANIC CHEMISTRY IN ORDER TO ALLOW THE STUDENT TO CLASSIFY AND REPRESENT THE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS RATIONALISING AND PREDICTING THE REACTIVITY ON THE BASIS OF THE FUNCTIONAL GROUPS. ENGINEERING ANALYSIS + ENGINEERING PLANNING + PLANNING EXAMINATION: THE OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE IS TO DEVELOP AND APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE STUDENTS IN ORDER TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS OF ORGANIC CHEMISTRY. ENGINEERING PRACTICE: THE STUDENTS WILL LEARN THE BASIS OF ORGANIC CHEMISTRY IN CONNECTION WITH THE MOST IMPORTANT REACTIONS USED AT THE INDUSTRIAL LEVEL. TRANSVERSAL ABILITIES: THE STUDENTS WILL LEARN HOW TO INTERACT WITH EACH OTHERS FOR THE SOLUTION OF THE CHEMICAL PROBLEMS AND HOW TO COMMUNICATE PROPERLY FOR THE OPTIMAL INTERACTION. |

THREE DISTINCT EVALUATIONS OF THE PROGRAM CONTENTS WILL BE CARRIED OUT DURING THE COURSE. THE FINAL MARK WILL BE DERIVED FROM THE ARITHMETIC MEAN OF THE THREE GRADES. A WRITTEN EXAM (INCLUDING ALL THE SUBJECTS OF THE CLASS) IS ENVISAGED FOR ALL THOSE WHO DID NOT PASS THE PARTIAL EXAMS. |
