Ciro D'APICE Curriculum

Ciro D'Apice obtained the degree cum laude in Mathematics in 1991 and the PhD in Mathematics in 1997 at University of Naples ''Federico II''. He is researcher in Mathematical Analysis since 1991 and Associate Professor at University of Salerno since 2004. From November 2011 he is Full Professor and is member of Dipartimento di Scienze Aziendali-Management e Innovation Systems (DISA-MIS).

His research interests include:

  • Variational Calculus, Homogenization and Optimal Control;
  • Complex networks modeling: conservation laws and applications to traffic networks, telecommunication ones, and supply chains, queueing systems and networks;
  • Analytical aspects for the temporal and spatial behaviour of solutions of dynamic problems

He has been and he is scientific coordinator of interesting research national projects.

He taught courses of Mathematics I, II, III and Mathematical Software, and courses for PhD students in Mathematics.

He is author of about 150 papers (2 books, 4 book chapters, 80 international journal papers, 4 didactical exercises texts, and numerous conference papers).
