Objectives
ANALYSING THE DEVELOPMENTAL OF THE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS FROM 1814 TO NOWDAYS, FROM THE MULTIPOLAR SYSTEM OF CONGRESS OF VIENNA TO BIPOLAR SYSTEM OF COLD WAR, TO THE NEW GLOBAL ORDER AFTER 1989. UNDERSTANDING HISTORICAL PROCESSES OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS DURING THE LAST TWO CENTURIES.
Prerequisites
THE STUDENT SHOULD HAVE THE FUNDAMENTAL NOTIONS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE CONTEMPORARY HISTORY AS WELL AS THE POLITICAL SCIENCE

Teaching Methods
THE COURSE IS COMPOSED OF 40 HOURS OF FRONTAL LESSONS, PARTITIONED IN 20 LESSONS (2 HOURS EACH) FOR THE GENERAL PART AND SEMINARS ON SPECIFIC ISSUES.
Verification of learning
THE EXAM WILL CONSIST OF AN ORAL TEST ON THE COURSE AND TEXTBOOKS CONTENTS. IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO DISCUSS A RESEARCH REPORT.
