ANIMAL BIOLOGY MODULE: THE EXAM IS STRUCTURED IN A WRITTEN AND AN ORAL TEST THAT TAKE PLACE ON CALENDARIZED DAYS, TO BE TAKEN IN THE SAME EXAM AND FOR BOTH AN EVALUATION IN 30THS. EACH TEST IS INTENDED TO BE PASSED WITH THE MINIMUM VOTE OF 18/30. THE WRITTEN TEST IS PREPARATORY AND MANDATORY TO THE ORAL TEST AND CONSISTS OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF 30 QUESTIONS WITH MULTIPLE ANSWER AND BLOCKED CHOICE. IT HAS A DURATION NOT EXCEEDING 40 MINUTES AND THE SUBJECT WILL TAKE TOPICS RELATING TO THE PROGRAM OF THE COURSE AND ARE AIMED AT VERIFYING THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEMS PROPOSED. THE ORAL TEST CONSISTS OF A DISCUSSION OF THE DURATION NOT EXCEEDING 30 MINUTES, AIMED AT ASKING THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE OF THEORETICAL CONTENT, LANGUAGE PROPERTIES, LOGICAL / DEDUCTIVE AND SYNTHESIS SKILLS, ARGUMENTATION SKILLS THE FINAL MARK IS GIVEN BY THE EVALUATION OF EACH SINGLE TEST (EACH WITH A MINIMUM RESULT 18/30) GIVING PARTICULAR WEIGHT TO THE ORAL TEST. DURING THE COURSE, THE STUDENT WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CARRY OUT 3 TESTS IN ITINERE (NOT MANDATORY). THE PROGRAM OF THE COURSE WILL BE DIVIDED INTO THREE BLOCKS OF LESSONS AND EACH IN ITINERE TEST WILL BE CARRIED OUT AT THE END OF EACH BLOCK. THE DATES OF PERFORMANCE OF THE ABOVE TESTS WILL BE AGREED WITH THE ATTENDING STUDENTS (MINIMUM 70% OF THE FREQUENCIES FOR EACH SINGLE TEST) PASSING THE TESTS IN ITINERE (WITH A MINIMUM MARK FOR EACH SINGLE TEST OF 18/30) EXEMPTS THE STUDENT FROM THE WRITTEN TEST. THE EXEMPTION IS VALID ONLY FOR THE SESSION AFTER THE COURSE PLANT BIOLOGY MODULE WRITTEN AND ORAL EXAMINATIONS. WRITTEN TEXT: 30 MULTIPLE CHOISE QUESTIONS (60 MINUTES, NO NEGATIVE MARKS) REGARDING THE MAIN LEARNING OUTCOMES. THE WRITTEN TEST (18/30) IS A PREREQUISITE FOR THE ORAL EXAMINATION THE ASSESSMENT OF THE SUCCESS OF THE EXAM BY MEANS OF SPECIFIC QUESTIONS, IT WILL BE DETERMINED WHETHER THE STUDENT HAS ACQUIRED GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE COURSE CONTENTS, AND IF THE STUDENT GAINED THE ABILITY TO RECOGNIZE AND UNDERSTAND AND TO EXPLAIN THE MAIN TOPICS. THE STUDENT DISCUSSING THE MAIN TOPICS OF THE COURSE, HAVE TO DEMONSTRATE CRITICAL THOUGHT AND AWARENESS OF THE STRUCTURE OF THE FIELD OF STUDY. DURING THE COURSE, THE STUDENT ALSO HAS THE POSSIBILITY TO CARRY OUT PARTIAL TESTS (IN-ITINERE). A FIRST IN-ITINERE TEST ON: ORIGIN OF LIFE AND EVOLUTION, AUTOTROPHIC AND HETEROTROPHIC METABOLISM, PLANT CELL, PHOTOSYNTHESIS AND PLANT TISSUES, CONSISTING OF 14 BLOCKED MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS AND 4 OPEN QUESTIONS (60 MINUTES AVAILABLE; MINIMUM 18 MAXIMUM 30 POINTS; A SECOND IN-ITINERE TEST ON: THE LEAF ANATOMY, STEM, ROOT, FLOWER, REPRODUCTION, FERTILISATION CONSISTING OF 14 BLOCKED MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS AND 4 OPEN QUESTIONS (60 MINUTES; MINIMUM 18 , MAXIMUM 30 POINTS) THE DATES OF PERFORMANCE OF IN-ITINERE TESTS ARE ESTABLISHED AND AGREED WITH THE ATTENDING STUDENTS, AND NOTIFIED IN ADVANCE TO THE STUDENTS. THE PASSING OF THE PARTIAL TESTS MAY EXEMPT FROM THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WRITTEN TEST. THE EXEMPTION APPLIES EXCLUSIVELY TO THE EXAMINATION SESSION IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TEACHING SESSION. FOR STUDENTS WHO DID NOT TAKE THE IN-ITINERE TESTS, THE EXAM PROVIDES A WRITTEN TEST ON THE TOPICS OF THE COURSE THE FINAL GRADE IS GIVEN BY THE AVERAGE OF THE VOTES OBTAINED FOR EACH MODULE |
