- KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING STUDENTS WILL GAIN A SET OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD OF ECONOMIC ANALYSIS THAT WILL BE USEFUL FOR IDENTIFYING THE DECISION PROCESS OF HOUSEHOLDS AND FIRMS AND UNDERSTANDING THE FUNCTIONING OF MARKETS. - APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING BY MEANS OF THE APPLICATION OF PRINCIPLES AND MODELS OF MICROECONOMICS, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO ANALYZE AND INTERPRET THOSE REAL WORLD PHENOMENA THAT ARE RELATED TO: MARKETS; INDIVIDUAL CHOICES OF CONSUMPTION, LABOUR AND SAVINGS; FIRMS’ BEHAVIOUR; STATE INTERVENTION IN THE ECONOMY. |
