Objectives
GENERAL LEARNING OUTCOMES:
THE MODULE AIMS TO OFFER MORE SPECIFIC HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC SKILLS AND TO STRENGTHEN THE ABILITY OF ANALYSIS OF WORKS OF ART THROUGH THE DEEPENING OF KNOWLEDGE CONCERNING THE ARTISTIC EVENTS IN SOUTHERN ITALY IN RELATION WITH THE ITALIAN FIGURATIVE CONTEXT AND THE EUROPEAN CIRCUIT.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
THE STUDENT
- WILL UNDERSTAND IN A DEEP WAY THE CRITERIA OF HISTORICAL-CRITICAL EVALUATION OF ARTISTIC PRODUCTS THROUGH THE COMPARATIVE STUDY OF PAINTING, SCULPTURE AND ARCHITECTURE WORKS IN SOUTHERN ITALY AREA IN THE MODERN AGE;
- WILL BE ADVANCED IN THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE PROCESSES OF ANALYSIS AND USE OF THE SOURCES, THROUGH THE CONSTANT REFERENCE TO THE ARCHIVE DOCUMENTATION AND ARTISTIC LITERATURE.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
THE STUDENT
- WILL BE ABLE TO RECONSTRUCT STRUCTERED AND COMPLEX PRODUCTION CONTEXTS AND TO INSERT THIS ARTISTIC PRODUCTION WITHIN WIDER AND INTERFERING HISTORICAL-CULTURAL AREAS;
- WILL BE ABLE TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE INSIDE THE PROCESSES OF ORGANIZATIONING AND MANAGEMENT OF INTEGRATED ACTIVITIES, IN RELATION TO NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH PROGRAMS, AS WELL AS CATALOGUING AND EVALUATING WORKS OF ART;
- WILL BE ABLE TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE IN THE PLANNING OF EFFECTIVE EDUCATIONAL ACTIONS.
MAKING JUDGEMENTS:
THE STUDENT
- WILL BE ABLE TO ANALYZE AND CRITICALLY EVALUATE THE CONTENTS OF THE DISCIPLINE;
- WILL BE ABLE TO INDEPENDENTLY EVALUATE THE DISCIPLINARY CONTRIBUTION OF SCIENTIFIC ESSAYS AND TO PERSONALLY SELECT IN-DEPTH SCIENTIFIC MATERIAL;
-WILL BE ABLE TO ADEQUATELY IDENTIFY THE HISTORICAL AND CRITICAL IMPORTANCE OF DISCIPLINARY CONTENTS AND THE RELEVANCE OF SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
THE STUDENT
-WILL BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE USING AN ADEQUATE REFERENCE VOCABULARY;
-WILL BE ABLE TO EXPRESS TOPICS RELATED TO THE DISCIPLINE IN ENGLISH;
- WILL BE ABLE TO USE IT TOOLS TO COMMUNICATE THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE;
- WILL ACQUIRE THE CRITICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL TOOLS TO COMMUNICATE IN PUBLIC THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE;
- WILL BE ABLE TO ORIGINALLY CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISCIPLINARY SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE.
LEARNING SKILLS:
THE STUDENT
- WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE EXTENSIVE USE OF BIBLIOGRAPHIC SOURCES AND IT RESOURCES TO DEVELOP THE PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE AND TO CARRY OUT RESEARCH ACTIVITIES;
- WILL BE ABLE TO AUTONOMOUSLY CONDUCT RESEARCH AND IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS;
- WILL BE ABLE TO ELABORATE THE DISCIPLINARY CONTENTS ALSO IN WRITING, USING THE METHODS OF THE REFERENCE SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE;
- WILL BE ABLE TO DEVELOP ORIGINAL RESEARCH PROJECTS AIMED AT CARRYING OUT POST-GRADUATE SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES.
