GIVING METHODOLOGIES FOR EVALUATING THE FEASIBILITY OF A NEW BUSINESS. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THE COURSE PROVIDES KNOWLEDGE ON THE FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS OF A NEW BUSINESS IDEA. MARKET, TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY ARE INTERRELATED, IN ORDER TO ASSESS THE GLOBAL FEASIBILITY OF THE IDEA. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ALL MANAGEMENT AND ENGINEERING KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED IN PREVIOUS CORSE WILL BE APPLIED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF A BUSINESS PLAN FOR A NEW BUSINESS IDEA. MAKING JUDJEMENTS MAKING AUTONOMOUS DECISIONS ON ALL THE TECHNICAL AND ECONOMICAL VARIABLES WILL BE NECESSARY TO DEVELOP THE BUSINESS PLAN COMMUNICATION SKILLS THE STUDENTS ARE REQUIE TO DRAW UP THE BUSINESS PLAN AND PRESENT IT. LEARNING SKILLS THE STUDENTS WILL ACQUIRE KNOWLEDGE AS TO THE MAIN VARIABLES INFLUENCING THE DECISION PROCESS IN THE CREATION OF A NEW BUSINESS. |

60 HOURS DIVIDED INTO 20 HOURS OF LESSONS AND 40 HOURS OF LAB, DURING WHICH THE STUDENTS DEVELOP A BUSINESS PLAN. THE FIRST WEEKS OF THE COURSE ARE DEDICATED TO BRAINSTORMING IN ORDER TO DEFINE A NEW BUSINESS IDEA. DURING THIS PHASE ENTREPRENEUERS, STARTUPPERS AND RESEARCHERS INVOLVED IN SPIN-OFFS ARE INVITED TO SUGGEST POSSIBLE BUSINESS IDEAS. STUDENTS CAN ALSO CHOSE AN IDEA DERIVING FROM THEIR OWN FAMILY BUSINESS OR THEIR PASSIONS. |
