Objectives
TO FORM A SOLID BASIC KNOWLEDGE ON THE FORMAL AND MATERIALS ASPECTS, AS SUCH OF THE CONTENT OF THE LATIN EPIGRAPHS OF THE LATE ANTIQUITY AND MIDDLE AGES.
TO PROVIDE THE INSTRUMENTS FOR A TEXTUAL AND PHILOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE EPIGRAPHS, THROUGH A MULTIDISCIPLINARY PERSPECTIVE, UNDERLINING THE RELATIONS WITH ARCHEOLOGY, FOR THE PRODUCTION ASPECTS, AND WITH THE PALEOGRAPHY AND THE HISTORY OF ART FOR INTERLOCKING BOLTS WITH BOOKS, PAINTING, MINIATURE AND SCULPTURE.

THE FINAL EXAM CONSISTS IN AN ORAL COLLOQUE, FINALIZED TO VERIFY THE ACQUISITION OF DEEP KNOWLEDGES ABOUT THE CULTURAL AREA AND THE SPECIFIC MATTERS AND WHETHER THE STUDENTS HAVE ACQUIRED A CORRECT STUDY METHOD, SOLID CRITICAL ATTITUDES AND AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT , AN ADEQUATE SPECIFIC VOCABULARY.
