Objectives
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE RELATING TO THE ISSUES AND METHODOLOGIES INHERENT IN THE TEACHING OF PHILOSOPHY, COMBINING THE HISTORICAL-THEORETICAL APPROACH WITH THAT OF THE PRACTICAL-LABORATORY.

KNOWLEDGE AND COMPREHENSION
THE STUDENT WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT:
- THE EPISTEMOLOGICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE DISCIPLINE;
- THE MAIN THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVES OF THE TEACHING / LEARNING PROCESS OF PHILOSOPHY IN ITALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL CONTEXTS;
- THE CURRENT DEBATE REGARDING THE DIFFERENT THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES;
- THE HISTORY AND EVOLUTION OF REGULATORY AND GUIDANCE INTERVENTIONS REGARDING THE TEACHING OF PHILOSOPHY IN ITALY ALSO IN COMPARISON WITH THE INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND COMPREHENSION
THROUGH THE STUDY OF THE DISCIPLINE, THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO:
- APPLY THE ACQUIRED AND UNDERSTOOD KNOWLEDGE TO THE CONTEXT OF THE EXERCISE OF THE TEACHING PROFESSION, FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING SPECIFIC SKILLS AND WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE RELEVANT STATE EXAMS;
- APPLY ACQUIRED AND UNDERSTOOD KNOWLEDGE FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING RELEVANT VOCABULARY AND SPECIFIC METHODOLOGIES;
- APPLY ACQUIRED AND UNDERSTOOD IN THE LIGHT OF THE DIFFERENT TEACHING CONTEXTS AND THEIR SPECIFIC NEEDS;
- APPLY ACQUIRED AND UNDERSTOOD KNOWLEDGE TO DIFFERENT DIDACTIC ENVIRONMENTS;
- APPLY ACQUIRED AND UNDERSTOOD KNOWLEDGE THROUGH A HANDS-ON APPROACH AND THE ENHANCEMENT OF INNOVATIVE TEACHING ASPECTS;
- APPLY ACQUIRED AND UNDERSTOOD KNOWLEDGE BY ENHANCING DIGITAL SUPPORT, AS A TOOL FOR INNOVATIVE TEACHING.

THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO:
- MATURE AND AUTONOMOUSLY REWORK THE PROPOSED CONTENTS AND EXPERIENCES;
- COMBINE THE LOGICAL-REFLECTIVE ASPECT WITH THAT OF THE IDEATIONAL-CREATIVE;
- ACQUIRE AUTONOMOUS LOGICAL-ARGUMENTATIVE AND DIALOGIC-COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS;
- ACCESS, SELECT AND CONSCIOUSLY USE DIGITAL RESOURCES FOR TEACHING;
- CRITICALLY PROCESS INFORMATION AND DATA.
COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO:
-USE ADEQUATE COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES IN RELATION TO THE DIFFERENT CONTEXTS;
- USE SPECIFIC VOCABULARY IN RELATION TO THE NEEDS OF TEACHING TRANSMISSION AND HANDING BACK TAUGHT TASKS ON WHAT HAS BEEN LEARNED, EVEN IN SEMINAR AND PUBLIC CONTEXTS;
- USE THE WEB AND DIGITAL RESOURCES FOR THE PURPOSE OF APPROPRIATE EDUCATIONAL AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION;
- ORGANIZE THE RESULTS OF STUDIES IN SPECIFIC PRODUCTS AND IN DOCUMENTARY, GRAPHIC AND ICONOGRAPHIC VERSIONS;
- BRIEFLY REPORT ON THE RESULTS OF STUDIES AND EXPERIENCES CARRIED OUT;
- TACKLE PARTICIPATION IN GROUP WORK.
LEARNING SKILLS
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO:
- ADEQUATELY ADDRESS THE TRAINING COURSES RELATED TO THE TEACHING OF PHILOSOPHY IN SCHOOLS;
- PRODUCE MODELS OF HANDING BACK TAUGHT TASKS ON WHAT HAS BEEN LEARNED;
- ELABORATE, IN INDIVIDUAL AND / OR GROUP FORM, PRODUCTS SUCH AS SYLLABI AND OTHER SPECIFIC PROJECT PROPOSALS;
- CARRY OUT THEMATIC STUDIES AND IN-DEPTH STUDIES.

THE COURSE AIMS TO CONVEY THROUGH DESCRIPTION SOME AMONG THE FOREMOST ORIENTATIONS FOR TEACHING PHILOSOPHY IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF AN INTEGRATED LOGIC OF COMPETENCES.
Teaching Methods
THE EXPOSITION ABOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN GUIDELINES IN THE DIDACTICS OF PHILOSOPHY WILL BE ALSO DEVELOPED IN THE LIGHT OF THE TEXT ANALYSIS OF THE MINISTERIAL DOCUMENTS AND OF THE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL DEBATE. FURTHERMORE, LABORATORY EXERCISES WILL BE HELD, ALSO WITH THE SUPPORT OF SCHOOL TEACHERS, AIMED AT THE REALIZATION OF SPECIFIC PRODUCTS
Verification of learning
CONTENTS ACQUISITION WILL BE TESTED IN ORAL FORM, BUT ALSO THROUGH STUDENTS' SPECIFIC PRODUCTS TO BE AGREED WITH THE TEACHER. THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE TEACHING OBJECTIVES, THE ACTUAL KNOWLEDGE,UNDERSTANDING AND METHODOLOGICAL AND THEORETICAL APPLICATION WILL BE ASSESSED. HONOURS WILL BE CONFERRED WHEN THE CANDIDATE PROVES SIGNIFICANT MASTERY OF THE DISCIPLINARY OBJECTIVES SET OUT WITH CORRECT USE OF LANGUAGE AND DEMONSTRATING AUTONOMOUS PROCESSING ABILITY.
