THE EXAM IS STRUCTURED IN A WRITTEN TEST AND IN AN ORAL TEST AND INCLUDES AN EVALUATION IN THIRTY-THIRTIES FOR BOTH. PASSING THE WRITTEN TEST WITH A SCORE OF AT LEAST 18/30 IS NECESSARY TO BE ABLE TO TAKE THE ORAL TEST AND OBTAIN THE FINAL MARK. DURING THE SEMESTER, TWO ONGOING TESTS WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE SAME WAY AS THE WRITTEN TASK EXPLAINED BELOW. THE ORIENTATION DATES ARE MID-APRIL AND EARLY JUNE. THE PASSING OF BOTH ONGOING TEST (SCORE OF AT LEAST 18/30) WILL ALLOW A DIRECT ADMISSION TO THE ORAL TEST. THE WRITTEN TEST CONSISTS OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF AN OPEN ANSWER QUESTIONNAIRE ON THE DIFFERENT TOPICS COVERED IN THE TEACHING PROGRAM, WHICH MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 120 MINUTES. THE WRITTEN TEST IS AIMED AT VERIFYING THE STUDENT'S ABILITY TO CORRECTLY APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED IN THE COURSE TO A SERIES OF PRACTICAL PROBLEMS. IN GENERAL IN THE WRITTEN TEST THERE WILL BE 3 NOMENCLATURE QUESTIONS, 4-5 QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE PRODUCTS EXPECTED IN THE REACTIONS COVERED BY THE COURSE, 2 QUESTIONS ON ASPECTS RELATING TO TRANSFORMATION OF FUNCTIONAL GROUPS OR SYNTHETIC METHODOLOGIES ASPECTS OF THE COURSE, ONE SUBJECT OF THE COURSE AND AN OPEN ANSWERED QUESTION ON ONE OF THE TOPICS COVERED IN WHICH PARTICULAR APPLICATION ASPECTS MAY ALSO BE REQUIRED. THE ORAL TEST CONSISTS OF AN INTERVIEW OF 30/45 MINUTES THAT BEGINS WITH AN IN-DEPTH ANSWERS IN THE WRITTEN TEST (IF ANY) AND CONTINUES WITH TWO / THREE QUESTIONS AND RELATED DISCUSSION ON TOPICS DEVELOPED IN THE COURSE PROGRAM "AND DESCRIPTION CONTENTS OF THE COURSE ". THE COMBINATION OF THE TWO TESTS ALLOWS TO VERIFY THE LEVEL OF LEARNING KNOWLEDGE, THE CORRECT TERMINOLOGY, THE ABILITY TO ANALYSIS, WHICH SHOULD CONSTITUTE THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED. THE EVALUATION TAKES INTO ACCOUNT TOTALLY OF: LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED; CAPACITY OF SYNTHESIS AND EXPOSURE; LANGUAGE APPROPRIATION; ABILITY TO ANALYSIS OF THE PROBLEMS AND TO APPLY THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE. THE VERIFICATION METHODS ARE CONSIDERED ADEQUATE IN RELATION TO THE OBJECTIVES OF THE TEACHING, AND ALSO TO THE EXPECTED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS. THE FINAL SCORE CONSISTS OF THE WEIGHTED AVERAGE OF THE SCORES OF THE TWO TESTS, WITH GREATER INCIDENCE OF THE ORAL EXAM MARK AND WITH PARTICULAR REGARD TO EXPOSURE SKILLS, ANALYSIS OF THE PROBLEMS AND APPLICATION OF THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED BY THE STUDENT |
