Objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING SKILLS
THE STUDENT WILL TAKE THEORETICAL AND EMPIRICAL KNOWLEDGE ON MICROECONOMIC AND MACROECONOMIC MODELS APPLIED TO LABOR MARKET, TO UNDERSTAND THE FUNCTIONING AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PUBLIC POLICIES AND ALSO TO UNDERSTAND THE MODEL OF PERSONNEL ECONOMICS AND HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYSIS

CAPACITY TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE
MORE SPECIFIC THEY WILL UNDERSTAND THE INTERACTION BETWEEN LABOR DEMAND AND LABOR SUPPLY IN THE LABOR MARKET AND THEY CAN APPLY PROFESSIONALLY AND EFFICIENTLY THE THEORETICAL MODELS REGARDING IN PARTICULAR IN THE PERSONNEL ECONOMICS LITERATURE, THE ALLOCATION OF HUMAN RESOURCES, INCENTIVES AND INTERRUPTION OF THE LABOUR CONTRACT. BESIDES THEY CAN UNDERSTAND THE MORE RECENT ECONOMIC PUBLIC POLICIES DEVOTED TO REDUCE THE MARKET FAILURE (AS ASIMMETRIC INFORMATION, FRICTIONS, ETC)

80 HOURS OF TEACHING WITH PRACTICAL EXAMPLES AND SIMULATIONS
Verification of learning
THE RESULTS WILL BE ASSESSED THROUGH AN ORAL EXAM (WITH THREE QUESTIONS AND LAST 20 MINUTES) AND A WRITTEN THESIS WHICH RESUMES A PAPER PRESENTED IN THE LAST AIEL (ITALIAN ASSOCIATION OF LABOUR ECONOMIST) CONFERENCE. THE THESIS MUST BE NOT LESS OF 1000 AND NOT MORE 3000 WORDS. THE THESIS COULD BE EVALUATED A MINIMUM OF 0 TO A MAXIMUM OF 2 POINT OF BONUS, WHICH IS ADDED TO THE GRADE AT THE ORAL EXAMINATION. AS FREE CHOICE FOR THE STUDENT, DURING THE TEACHING IS POSSIBLE TO SPLIT IN TWO PARTS THE EXAM, THE FIRST ONE FINISH AT THE MACROECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF THE LABOUR MARKET
