Objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING SKILLS
THE STUDENT WILL TAKE THEORETICAL AND EMPIRICAL KNOWLEDGE ON MICROECONOMIC AND MACROECONOMIC MODELS APPLIED TO LABOR MARKET, TO UNDERSTAND THE FUNCTIONING AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THE MANAGMENT WITH PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO THE HUMAN RESOURCES AND ALSO TO UNDERSTAND THE MODEL OF PERSONNEL ECONOMICS

CAPACITY TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE:
MORE SPECIFIC THEY WILL UNDERSTAND THE INTERACTION BETWEEN LABOR DEMAND AND LABOR SUPPLY IN THE LABOR MARKET AND THEY CAN APPLY PROFESSIONALLY AND EFFICIENTLY THE THEORETICAL MODELS REGARDING IN PARTICULAR IN THE PERSONNEL ECONOMICS LITERATURE, THE ALLOCATION OF HUMAN RESOURCES, INCENTIVES AND INTERRUPTION OF THE LABOUR CONTRACT. BESIDES THEY CAN UNDERSTAND THE MORE RECENT POLICIES DEVOTED TO REDUCE THE MARKET FAILURE (AS ASYMMETRIC INFORMATION, FRICTIONS, ETC)

1. LABOUR SUPPLY; 2. LABOUR DEMAND; 3. LABOUR MARKETS; 4. THE VALUE CHAIN OF HUMAN RESOURCES; 5. PEOPLE, MOTIVATION AND SKILLS; 6. THE RIGHT PEOPLE IN THE RIGHT PLACE; 7. DEVELOPING HUMAN CAPITAL; 8. ASSESSING HUMAN RESOURCES; 9. EXPLICIT AND IMPLICIT CONTRACTS; 10. EXPLICIT INCENTIVES; 11. IMPLICIT INCENTIVES. THE TOPICS: 1 AND 2, 2.1 9,10 AND 11, ARE COVERED BY 12 LESSONS OF 2 HOURS EACH, THE REMAINING TOPICS WILL INVOLVE 15 LESSONS OF 2 HOURS EACH. 2 SEMINAR LESSONS WITH EXPERTS

THE RESULTS WILL BE ASSESSED THROUGH AN ORAL EXAM (WITH THREE QUESTIONS AND LAST 20 MINUTES) AS FREE CHOICE "ONLY" FOR THE STUDENTS WHO FOLLOW THE TEACHING, AND DURING THE TEACHING, IS POSSIBLE TO SPLIT THE EXAM, PRESENTING 1 OR 2 PROJECTS ON THE TOPICS
