Objectives
KNOWLEDGE OF THE ROLE OF THE STATE IN THE MODERN ECONOMY AND OF THE MAIN PUBLIC POLICIES AIMED AT: 1. ENSURE THE CORRECT FUNCTIONING OF THE MARKET (MINIMAL STATE); 2. CORRECT MARKET FAILURES; 3. ACHIEVE A DISTRIBUTION OF INCOME DEEMED FAIR. THE COURSE MAKES CONSTANT REFERENCE TO REAL PUBLIC POLICIES IMPLEMENTED IN ITALY AND ABROAD WITH THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING THE STUDENT WITH THE ABILITY TO ASSESS THEIR APPROPRIATENESS ON THE BASIS OF THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED DURING THE TEACHING.

HIRING THE RIGHT PEOPLE; 8. INCENTIVES EXPLICIT CONTRACTS; 9 IMPLICIT CONTRACTS; 10. ENDING OF THE LABOUR CONTRACT AND NEWS PUBLIC POLICIES; EACH TOPIC IS COVER WITH 3 LECTURE OF 2 HOUR EACH

60 HOURS OF TEACHING WITH PRACTICAL EXAMPLES, AND SEMINARS
Verification of learning
THE RESULTS WILL BE ASSESSED THROUGH AN ORAL EXAM (WITH THREE QUESTIONS AND LAST 20 MINUTES) AND A WRITTEN THESIS WHICH RESUMES A PAPER PRESENTED IN THE LAST AIEL (ITALIAN ASSOCIATION OF LABOUR ECONOMICS) CONFERENCE. THE THESIS MUST BE NOT LESS THAN 1000 AND NOT MORE THAN 3000 WORDS. THE THESIS IS EVALUATED IN /30, WHICH IS AVERAGED WITH THE ORAL EXAMINATION. AS A FREE CHOICE FOR THE STUDENT, DURING THE TEACHING IS POSSIBLE TO SPLIT INTO TWO PARTS THE EXAM, THE FIRST ONE FINISH AT THE MACROECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF THE LABOUR MARKET
