EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES AND COMPETENCE TO BE ACQUIRED: KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL BASES FOR THE DESIGN AND APPLICATION OF INNOVATIVE GEOMATIC MONITORING SYSTEMS AND THE ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF SURVEY DATA. KNOWLEDGE OF THE MONITORING SYSTEMS BASED ON TERRESTRIAL (ROBOTIC TOTAL STATIONS, LASER SCANNERS, LEVELS) AND SATELLITE (SAR) TECHNIQUES, COMBINED WITH GNSS AND UAV. BE ABLE TO PERFORM MULTI-TEMPORAL ANALYSIS FOR THE CONTROL OF STRUCTURES/INFRASTRUCTURE. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING SKILLS: THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE OPERATING PRINCIPLES OF INNOVATIVE TOPOGRAPHIC INSTRUMENTATION AND SURVEYING TECHNIQUES AIMED AT MONITORING STRUCTURES/INFRASTRUCTURE. KNOWLEDGE OF THEORIES FOR THE PROCESSING OF DATA AND THEIR ANALYSIS. ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: BEING ABLE TO CHOOSE AND DESIGN THE MOST SUITABLE MONITORING SYSTEM FOR THE ACTUAL CASE AND TO PROCESS AND ANALYZE DATA. TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED DURING THE FRONTAL LESSONS WILL BE A KEY ELEMENT. AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT: DEVELOP A CRITICAL SENSE AIMED AT IDENTIFYING THE MOST APPROPRIATE SURVEYING TECHNIQUES AND INSTRUMENTATION IN RELATION TO THE TYPE AND GEOMETRIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE TEST SITE. ABILITY TO PROCESS, CALCULATE AND ANALYZE ACQUIRED DATA AND EVALUATE THE ACCURACY AND RELIABILITY OF THE RESULTS. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: BEING ABLE TO PRESENT AND DISCUSS THE MOST SUITABLE SURVEYING TECHNIQUES FOR MONITORING AN OBJECT CASE, WITH REFERENCE TO THE DESIGN, INSTRUMENTATION AND ANALYSIS OF MEASUREMENT DATA. ABILITY TO WRITE A WRITTEN REPORT ON THE CHOSEN SURVEYING TECHNIQUE, DATA PROCESSING AND ANALYSIS, AND PRESENT IT ORALLY. BEING ABLE TO USE TECHNICAL LANGUAGE. ABILITY TO LEARN: TO BE ABLE TO APPLY THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE TO TO THE SURVEYING AND MONITORING OF STRUCTURES AND INFRASTRUCTURES THAT ARE DIFFERENT IN TYPE AND SPATIAL CONTEXT FROM THOSE PRESENTED IN THE COURSE. BEING ABLE TO MONITOR THE EVOLUTION OF NEW KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD, IN DETAILS TO BE ABLE TO SOURCE AND UNDERSTAND THE TECHNICAL AND SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE IN THE FIELD, WITH THE AIM OF OF AUTONOMOUSLY DEEPENING THE STUDY OF THE SURVEY TECHNIQUES DISCUSSED AND FOLLOWING THEIR INSTRUMENTAL AND SOFTWARE EVOLUTION. |
