PROMOTING THE REFLECTION ON THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD, STARTING FROM THE CHANGES OF RELATIONS AMONG STATES, AS WELL AS OF THE SOCIAL LIFE BETWEEN XIX AND XX CENTURY. AIM OF CONTEMPORARY HISTORY IS ALSO, FOR BOTH NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL, DEVELOPING THE ABILITY OF FUTURE TEACHERS OF FAMILIARIZING WITH THE MOST COGENT ASPECTS OF THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD (MULTI-ETHNICITY, MULTICULTURALISM, ETC.), PRESENT IN THE ITALIAN SCHOOL. EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES: KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN ELEMENTS OF CONTEMPORARY HISTORY; ABILITY OF UNDERSTANDING THE MAIN ISSUES. ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE OF CONTEMPORARY HISTORY TO ANALYSE MORE SPECIFIC ISSUES. INDEPENDENCE OF JUDGMENT ABILITY TO CRITICALLY INTERPRET DATA AND PROBLEMS CONCERNING CONTEMPORARY HISTORY AND TO REFLECT ON ITS MAIN TOPICS. COMMUNICATION SKILLS STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO EXPOSE THE MAIN QUESTIONS CONCERNING RELATED TO CONTEXTUALIZATION OF EVENTS, USING THE SPECALISED LANGUAGE. LEARNING SKILLS STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO AUTHONOMOUSLY DEEPEN THE MAIN SCIENTIFIC-METHODOLOGICAL ISSUES CONCERNING XX CENTURY EVENTS AND THEIR MEDIATIC REPRESENTATION |
