Objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: THE TEACHING COURSE WILL PROVIDE A RATIONAL VISION OF THE CHEMICAL-PHYSICAL PHENOMENA OF MULTI-COMPONENT SYSTEMS. STUDENTS WILL ACHIEVE A GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF PHYSICAL LAWS AND UNDERSTAND AS A CHEMICAL SYSTEM
REACHES THE THERMODYNAMIC EQUILIBRIUM.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO DETERMINE THE DIRECTION OF PROCESSES, THE COMPOSITION OF REAGENT SYSTEMS AND THEIR KINETIC EVOLUTION.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE THE CHEMICAL CONCEPTS CLEARLY AND RIGOROUSLY.
AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT: STUDENTS ARE GUIDED TO LEARN CRITICALLY AND RESPONSIBLY AND TO ENRICH THEIR OWN ABILITIES OF JUDGMENT THROUGH THE STUDY OF THE EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL INDICATED BY THE TEACHER.

Prerequisites
Fundamental knowledge of chemistry, matematics and physics

Teaching Methods
THE TEACHING COURSE INCLUDES 6 CREDITS DIVIDED INTO 4 CREDITS (32 HOURS) OF LECTURES IN THE CLASSROOM, 1 CREDIT (12 HOURS) OF LABORATORY ACTIVITIES, 1 CREDIT (12 HOURS) OF NUMERICAL EXERCISES.
Verification of learning
THE EXAM CONSISTS OF WRITTEN EXERCISES FOLLOWED BY A ORAL DISCUSSION.
THREE PROBLEMS SHOULD BE SOLVED IN TWO HOURS TIME. THE EVALUATION WILL TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE ABILITY TO DEFINE THE CHEMICAL PROBLEM UNDER STUDY BY USING THE RIGHT EQUATIONS, THE ABILITY TO ELABORATE THE DATA BY PERFORMING THE CALCULATIONS CORRECTLY WITH THE RIGHT UNITS OF MEASURE.
THE ORAL DISCUSSION WILL TEST THE ABILITY TO EXPLAIN AND DISCUSS THE CONTENTS OF THE TEACHING COURSE.
THE EVALUATION IS IN THIRTIETHS.
