IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY 1997 PRESSO LO I.I.A.S.S. INT. INST. OF HIGH SCIENTIFIC STUDIES “E.R. CAIANIELLO”. SEMPRE NEL 1997 HA CONSEGUITO IL TITOLO DI DOTTORE DI RICERCA IN MATEMATICA APPLICATA E INFORMATICA. PROFESSORE ORDINARIO, SI INTERESSA DI INTELLIGENZA ARTIFICIALE, BIOMETRIA, COMPUTER VISION, HCI, IMAGE PROCESSING, IMAGE COMPRESSION AND INDEXING, MULTIMEDIA DATABASES, PATTERN RECOGNITION, VR\AR. AUTORE DI OLTRE 250 PUBBLICAZIONI, TRA RIVISTE INTERNAZIONALI, ATTI DI CONGRESSO E CAPITOLI DI LIBRO, È INOLTRE EDITORE DI ALCUNI LIBRI A DIVULGAZIONE INTERNAZIONALE.
