THE COURSE IS AIMED AT A FIRST ILLUSTRATION ON THE APPLICATION OF ENGINEERING TECHNIQUES AND THEIR METHODOLOGIES FOR PHYSICAL MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF SOME HUMAN BIOSYSTEMS AND FOR THE STUDY OF BIOLOGICAL PROBLEMS OF MEDICAL INTEREST IN GENERAL. THE MODULE IS STRUCTURED INTO THREE PARTS: THE FIRST IS DEVOTED TO THE STUDY OF THE KINEMATIC AND DYNAMIC MODELING OF THE HUMAN SKELETON WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE LOWER AND UPPER HUMAN LIMBS. THE SECOND PART OF THE MODULE AIMS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH THE NECESSARY TOOLS FOR THE KINEMATIC AND DYNAMIC MODELING OF BIOMECHANICS, EVEN FOR ORTHOPEDIC PURPOSES. IN THE THIRD PART THEY ARE FACED BY A FIST OF THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL VIEW OF THE MAIN PROBLEMS RELATED TO TRIBOLOGY OF PROSTHETIC PAIRS WITH REFERENCE ALSO TO THE LUBRICATION PHENOMENA. AS PART OF THE COURSE ARE PLANNED SEMINARS AND INTERVENTIONS OF THE MEDICAL WORLD RESEARCHERS. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING TO SIMULATE AND TO ANALYZE THE DYNAMIC BEHAVIOR OF A MUSCULOSKELETAL MODEL APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING KNOWING HOW TO ADDRESS THE BIOMECHANICAL STUDY OF KINEMATIC CHAINS CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HUMAN BODY BY MEANS OF THE PRINCIPLES OF APPLIED MECHANICS. MAKING JUDGMENTS UNDERSTAND THE OPERATING PRINCIPLES OF TYPICAL BIOMECHANICAL SYSTEMS. COMMUNICATION SKILLS KNOWING HOW TO USE THEIR LANGUAGE OF BIOMECHANICS. LEARNING SKILLS BEING ABLE TO EXTEND THEIR KNOWLEDGE TO DIFFERENT CONTEXTS FROM THOSE PRESENTED DURING THE COURSE. |
