THE COURSE IS OFFERED TO STUDENTS OF THE SECOND YEAR OF THE MASTER DEGREE IN MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING. IT AIMS TO ILLUSTRATE THE OPERATION AND DESIGN PRINCIPLES OF THE MACHINES. IN PARTICULAR, AFTER ANALYZING SOME METHODOLOGIES FOR THE KINEMATIC ANALYSIS OF PLANAR MECHANISMS, THE STUDY OF THE DYNAMIC BEHAVIOR OF TYPICAL MECHANICAL SYSTEMS IS PRESENTED. THE SECOND PART OF THE COURSE PROVIDES LECTURES AND EXERCISES ON THE MAIN MECHANICAL TRANSMISSIONS AND THE ANALYSIS OF THE KINEMATIC BEHAVIOR OF ORDINARY AND PLANETARY GEARING. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING UNDERSTANDING OF PHYSICAL CONCEPTS RELATED TO THE MECHANICS OF MACHINES AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE TERMINOLOGY USED IN THIS FIELD. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING APPLIED KNOWING HOW TO ANALYZE AND SOLVE PRACTICAL PROBLEMS OF THE KINEMATIC AND DYNAMIC BEHAVIOR OF THE MACHINES. MAKING JUDGMENTS KNOWING HOW TO IDENTIFY THE MOST APPROPRIATE METHODS TO SOLVE ENGINEERING PROBLEMS RELATED TO THE CONTEXT OF MECHANICS APPLIED TO MACHINERY COMMUNICATION SKILLS KNOWING HOW TO EXPOSE PROPERTIES WITH APPROPRIATE TECHNICAL LANGUAGE THE TOPICS OF THE COURSE. ABILITY TO LEARN KNOWING HOW TO APPLY THEIR KNOWLEDGE TO DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS FROM THOSE PRESENTED DURING THE COURSE. |

THE ASSESSMENT OF ACHIEVEMENT OF OBJECTIVES WILL BE DONE THROUGH A WRITTEN TEST AND AN ORAL DISCUSSION. THE EVALUATION WILL BE EXPRESSED IN THIRTIETHS. THE FINAL EVALUATION IS OBTAINED AS THE AVERAGE OF THE PARTIAL EVALUATIONS. THE MINIMUM ASSESSMENT LEVEL (18) IS ATTRIBUTED WHEN THE STUDENT HAS A FRAGMENTED KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENTS AND SHOWS A LIMITED ABILITY TO USE THEM IN THE CONTEXT OF STUDY. THE MAXIMUM LEVEL (30) IS ATTRIBUTED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES A COMPLETE AND IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF THE METHODOLOGIES AND TOOLS AND HAS A REMARKABLE ABILITY TO USE THEM IN THE CONTEXT OF STUDY. PRAISE IS AWARDED WHEN THE CANDIDATE DEMONSTRATES SIGNIFICANT MASTERY OF THE METHODOLOGIES AND TOOLS AND SHOWS REMARKABLE LANGUAGE PROPERTIES AND AUTONOMOUS PROCESSING CAPACITY EVEN IN CONTEXTS OTHER THAN THOSE PROPOSED BY THE TEACHER. |
