Tiziano VIRGILI Curriculum

Born in Rome, March 6, 1964, he obtained the Degree in Physics from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", and in 1994 the title of PhD in Physics from the same university.
Since 2001 he is a researcher at the University of Salerno.


[1989-90] School Professor (Electronics at the Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale "Fermi" of Rome).
[1991-93] PhD in Physics at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
[1994-96] Professor for diplomas of Engineering, University of Salerno
[1997-98] Postdoctoral for the Faculty of Physical and Natural Sciences, University of Salerno.
[1999] Professor for diplomas of Engineering, University of Salerno.
[2000-01] Research fellow at the Department of Physics, University of Salerno.
[2001 -] Full Researcher at the Faculty of Physical and Natural Sciences,  University of Salerno.

Since 1991 he has been associated to the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN).
From 2001 to 2007 he held the position of local manager for INFN research group "ALICE-ITS" of Salerno, afferent to ALICE experiment since 1994.
