Gianluigi COPPOLA Curriculum

Gianluigi Coppola, married with two children, has a degree in Economics at the University of Salerno. He achieved in 1996 his PhD in Economics of the Public Sector at the same university. It was a Visiting Student in the courses of the Master of Macroeconomics at the University Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona.
Since 2004 he is Lecturer in Economics at the Department of Economic Science and Statistics, University of Salerno. And he was confirmed in 2007. He has taught Statistical Economics, Economic Development and Political Economics.
He is a member of the board in the course of the PhD in Economics of the Public Sector and he is a member of the editorial board of the Public Economics of the Department of Economics and Statistics. He has been a referee for the national and international reviews as the Journal of the Italian Economic Association, Marine Resource Economics, Fisheries Economics, Journal of Economic Geography and Springer’s AIEL volumes.
He has been chairman in sessions of national and international conferences. He is a member of the Italian Statistical Society (SIS), the Italian Economic Association (SIE), Italian Society of Public Economics (SIEP), the Italian Association of the Labour Economists (AIEL), the Italian Association of Regional Science (AISRe), and the International Health Economics Association (iHEA). In 2013 He has been member of the Scientific Comettee of the IHEA International Conference (Austrialia). He has worked as a consultant at research institutes such IREPA, Sichelgaita, Agriconsulting and also he made territorial development plans. Recently he has developed software for table that simulates the widely used macroeconomics models.
