Valentina BARELA Curriculum

Professor of Comparative law. Teaches Anglo-American Law, Law school, University of Salerno. Researcher of Comparative Private Law from 2002 to 2014. She attended a course of post-graduate in "comparative law, EU and transnational" with the vote of 110/110 (2000) . PhD in "Comparison and civil law." (2002).  Law degree magna cum laude (1997). She was for years a member of the Scientific Committee of the "books of the Department directed by Pasquale Stanzione" and she is a member of the College faculty of the School of Graduate "Giambattista Vico". She played regularly research abroad: in particular, in France at the University Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) she has carried out research in the field of timeshare, at the center of study and research of construction law, directed by Professor Philippe Malinvaud; visiting researcher at the University of Barcelona, in particolar in the field of timeshare, of local law, participating in seminars, directed by Professor Alfonso Hernandez Moreno; visting researcher at the 'University of Berkeley, researching into federal law and following the course in Federal Law (Professore William A. Flecher), Law and Economics (Professor Robert Cooter) and in Comparative Legal Institutions (Professore Robert A. Kagan); visiting researcher at the Complutense University of Madrid and at the Universitu of León, carring out research on the subject of de facto unions. She is author of monographs, essays, comments and notes to legislative interventions judgments in comparative law, civil law and family law.
