THIS TEACHING IS INTENDED TO GIVE STUDENTS: -ACQUISITION OF THE FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS AND INSTITUTES MOST CHARACTERISTIC OF ENGLISH LAW AND UNITED STATES LAW AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE DIFFERENT ORGANS OF LEGAL POWER, ACQUIRING THE ABILITY TO GRASP THE DIFFERENCES AND POSSIBLE CONVERGENCES WITH THE ITALIAN LEGAL SYSTEM; - ABILITY TO INTERPRET A LEGISLATIVE TEXT BE IT U.S. OR E, AS WELL AS ABILITY TO DISCERN THE PARTS OF AN ENGLISH OR U.S. JUDGMENT, UNDERSTANDING THE PECULIARITIES OF THE U.S. FEDERAL LAW. |

THE COURSE IS OF 72 HOURS OF LESSONS, CONSISTING EITHER IN LECTURES (FRONTAL LESSONS), EITHER IN SORT OF SEMINARS, WICHT CONSIST IN THE INTEPRETATION OF ACTS OR STATUTES, AS WELL AS READING COURTS RULINGS. |

EVERY FINAL ORAL EXAMINATION (WETHER OR NOT THE STUDENTS HAVE FOLLOWED THE COURSE) IS DIRECT TO VERIFY IF THE STUDENT HAS THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE ENGLISH AND UNITED STATES LAW, AND AS WELL AS THE EVOLUTION OF THE UNITED STATES LAW THROUGH THE RULING OF THE SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES. - THIS KNOWLEDGE OF THESE POINTS WILL ALLOW THE STUDENT TO FACE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN LAW FIRMS IN ENGLAND OR UNITED STATES. EVALUATION CRITERIA FINAL EXAMINATION: 1) ABILITY TO ARTICULATE A DISCOURSE 2) THE ABILITY TO EXPRESS YOURSELF CLEARLY AND WITH APPROPRIATE LANGUAGE 3) SHOW CLEARLY IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE DIFFERENCES AND THE SIMILARITIES BETWEEN THE ENGLISH LAW AND U.S. LAW. FOR STUDENTS ATTENDING THE COURSE: THE EXAM IS A ORAL TEXT. - THE SUDENT WILL BE INVITED TO REPORT ON ORAL THEMES TREATED IN CLASSROOM, AND HE WILL BE INVITED TO EXAMINE A JUDGMENT EXPLAINED DURING THE COURSE. DURING THE LAST WEEK OF THE COURSE STUDENTS WHO HAVE FOLLOWED THE COURSE CAN CHOOSE TO SUPPORT A TEST ORAL OR WRITTEN PART THAT WILL BE WORTH FOR THE EVALUATION OF THE EXAMINATION. FOR STUDENTS NOT ATTENDING THE COURSE: THE EXAM IS A ORAL TEXT. - THE ORAL TEST FOR THOSE WHO DID NOT FOLLOW THE COURSE WILL REFER THE TEXT SUGGESTED. |
