Rocco RESTAINO Curriculum

Rocco Restaino was born in 1970. He received the Laurea degree (cum laude)  in Electronic Engineering from the University of Naples, Italy, and the Ph.D. degree in information Engineering from the University of Salerno, Italy. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Salerno. His research interests include signal processing and statistical learning for pattern recognition, remote sensing and networking.

Since 2002 he taught classes in Telecommunications and Probability Theory and is currently professor of Digital Signal Processing. He has also been involved in some Italian research projects.

He is the author of several papers, published in books, international journals and conference proceedings. He was the recipient of the IGARSS 2014 Symposium Best Paper Award.
