THROUGH THE STUDY OF MAIN THEATRE THEORIES SINCE THE END OF '800, THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS THE DATAILS UNDERSTANDING THE EVOLUTIONOF THE ART OF THE THEATRE OF '900 THROUGH ITS PECULIAR EXPRESSIONS (ACTING, DANCE, MIME). ANALYSIS OF EMBLEMATIC EXPERIENCES THAT BELONG TO THIS PHENOMENON (PAPER AND SCREENINGS) AIMS TO PROVIDE THE METHODOLOGY TOOLS FOR A CRITICAL UNDERSTANDING OF A PECULIAR MOMENT OF CONTEMPORARY EUROPEAN THEATRE. THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE AND INTERPRETING DATA AND INFORMATION TO IMPROVE ONE OR MORE SPECIFIC AREAS OF STUDY, EVEN INDIPENDENTLEY IDENTIFIED. |

DURING THE ORAL EXAM THERE WILL BE AN ASSESSMENT OF THE DEGREE OF KNOWLWDGE ACHIEVED AND THE RELATIVE LEVEL OF APPRECIATION. IN PARTICULAR THE STUDENT WULL HAVE TO: • ANSWER QUESTIONS ON THE EXAM BIBLIOGRAPHY WITHIN THE REMIT OF THE BASIC THEORIES OF CONTEMPORARY THEATRE; • DISCUSS ANALYTICALLY AND CRITICALLY THE ICONOGRAPHIC AND VIDEO MATERIAL EXAMINED IN CLASS; • COMMENT ON A PASSAGE CHOSEN FROM THE THEORETICAL TEXTS OF THE SYLLABUS. |
