Objectives
GENERAL LEARNING OUTCOMES:
THE TEACHING AIMS ACQUIRING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS IN THE FIELD OF SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY THEATER THROUGH THE FUNDAMENTAL, EXEMPLARY AND EMBLEMATIC PARAMETERS.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
THE STUDENT
- WILL KNOW THE FUNDAMENTAL CHARACTERISTICS TO IDENTIFY THE SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY THEATER;
- WILL UNDERSTAND HOW TO USE THE NECESSARY HISTORICAL-METHODOLOGICAL TOOLS;
- WILL FOCUS ON THE TECHNIQUES AND CONTEXTS RELATED TO THE PHENOMENON.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
THROUGH THE COURSE, THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO:
- ACQUIRE THE ABILITY TO ANALYZE DIVERSIFIED THEATRICAL PHENOMENA OF THE SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY THEATER;
- ANALYZE THE FUNDAMENTAL CRITICAL PRODUCTION DEDICATED TO THIS AREA; ADDRESS EXEMPLARY CASES AND EMBLEMATIC MODELS.
MAKING JUDGMENTS:
THE STUDENT WILL DEVELOP CONCEPTUAL TOOLS AND CRITICAL SKILLS USEFUL FOR AUTONOMOUSLY EVALUATING METHODOLOGICAL-HISTORICAL ISSUES, SOURCES, MATERIALS AND LANGUAGES OF VARIOUS ARTISTIC DISCIPLINES.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE HIS KNOWLEDGE AT DIFFERENT LEVELS (BOTH TO AN AUDIENCE OF EXPERTS AND TO ONE OF NON-SPECIALISTS), EXPRESSING THEM WITH SPECIFIC LANGUAGE PROPERTIES AND LEXICAL SKILLS, AND USING THE MOST APPROPRIATE REGISTER FOR EACH CIRCUMSTANCE.
LEARNING SKILLS:
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND AND INTERPRET COMPLEX TEXTS AND USE BIBLIOGRAPHIC TOOLS, BOTH TRADITIONAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL, TO IDENTIFY AND SELECT THE SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE USEFUL FOR INCREASING THEIR KNOWLEDGE

THE COURSE AIMS TO TRACE THE PATH THAT, FROM THE HALF OF '900, LEADS TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY THEATER ANALYZING SPECIFIC EXPRESSIONS
WITH PARTICULAR REGARD TO LABORATORY AS METHODOLOGY.

Verification of learning
ORAL EXAM
DURING THE ORAL EXAM THERE WILL BE AN ASSESSMENT OF THE DEGREE OF KNOWLWDGE ACHIEVED AND THE RELATIVE LEVEL OF APPRECIATION. IN PARTICULAR THE STUDENT WILL HAVE TO:
• ANSWER QUESTIONS ON THE EXAM BIBLIOGRAPHY ABOUT THE BASIC THEORIES OF SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY THEATRE;
• DISCUSS ANALYTICALLY AND CRITICALLY ON THE DOCUMENTS USED DURNG THE LESSONS (WRITING, IMAGES, VIDEO)
