THE COURSE AIMS TO ACHIEVE 2 OBJECTIVES: 1. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING STUDENTS WILL ANALYSE CONCEPTUAL TOOLS USEFUL TO UNDERSTAND AND MANAGE THE MAIN PROBLEMS THAT CAN AFFECT INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGES DUE TO THE COMPLEX RELATIONAL DYNAMICS THAT CHARACTERIZE THE POLITICAL-ECONOMIC POLARIZATIONS LINKED TO THE PHENOMENAL DICHOTOMY OF GLOBALIZATION-DEGLOBALIZATION. 2. ABILITY TO APPLY AND UNDERSTAND STUDENTS WILL BE DIRECTED TOWARDS A CRITICAL AND ANALYTICAL STUDY OF THE WORLD ECONOMIC SCENARIO, WITH A STRONG INSIGHT ON THE POLITICAL AND SOCIAL IDENTITIES THAT IDENTIFY THE RELATIONAL STRUCTURES OF GLOBAL EXCHANGE. IN THIS SENSE, THEY WILL DEVELOP COGNITIVE ABILITIES AIMED AT INTERPRETING CONTEXTS AND DETERMINING THE CONDITIONS THAT FAVOR EQUALITY AND WELL-BEING. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING DUBLIN DESCRIPTOR 1: STUDENTS WILL REACH PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, TYPICAL OF THE T TYPE, THAT PUTS TOGETHER AN ADEQUATE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND THE VARIETY OF EXCHANGE (HORIZONTAL SECTION OF THE T) AND A PARTICULAR PROPENSITY TO DEEPEN THE MANAGERIAL MODELS AND CONCEPTS RELATED TO VALUE-COCREATION E VALUE-DISTRIBUTION (VERTICAL SECTION OF THE T). ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING DUBLIN DESCRIPTOR 2: APPLICATION SKILLS STUDENTS WILL LEARN THE METHODS, TECHNIQUES AND TOOLS FOR STUDYING THE GLOBAL CONTEXTS OF EXCHANGE. AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT DUBLIN DESCRIPTOR 3: AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO ASSESS THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN GLOBAL SMART SYSTEMS AND WISE SYSTEMS. COMMUNICATION SKILLS DUBLIN DESCRIPTOR 4: COMMUNICATION SKILLS STUDENTS WILL DEVELOP A SPECIFIC LANGUAGE; IN THIS SENSE THEY WILL BE INVOLVED IN CREATING A REPORT AND CASE STUDY ANALYSIS. LEARNING ABILITY DUBLIN DESCRIPTOR 5: LEARNING ABILITY STUDENTS WILL LEARN HOW TO DEVELOP ANALYSIS OF EXISTING SCHEMES, ACCORDING TO THE MODEL AS-IS (AS IT IS), TO-BE (AS IT WILL BE) TO WISH (AS IT SHOULD BE) REFERRING TO INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC RELATIONS. IN THIS SENSE, A GROUP PROJECT WORK WILL BE DEVELOPED BASED ON THE THEORY OF COOPERATIVE AND NON-COOPERATIVE GAMES. |

THE COURSE ALLOWS STUDENTS TO STUDY THE PROBLEMS OF INTERNATIONAL SCENARIOS IN THE LIGHT OF RECENT EVENTS - COVID-19 AND THE RUSSIA-UKRAINE CONFLICT - WHICH LEAD TO RETREAT THE TRADITIONAL LOGICS OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC RELATIONS. CRITICAL THINKING AND SYSTEMIC MATRIX ANALYSIS TECHNIQUES WILL BE APPLIED TO UNDERSTAND THE HIGHLY DYNAMIC INTERNATIONAL SCENARIOS |

THE COURSE IS DEVELOPED THROUGH LECTURES, EXERCISES, CASE STUDIES AND SEMINARS. THE STUDENTS WILL ALSO BE ENGAGED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF GROUP PROJECT WORK |

SINGLE MODULE: EX CATHEDRA LESSONS / EXERCISES METHOD OF THE EXAMINATION: THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE IS CERTIFIED BY AN EXAM WITH AN EVALUATION OUT OF THIRTY POINTS (FROM 18 TO 30). THE EXAM INCLUDES A WRITTEN TEST AND AN ORAL EXAMINATION THAT CAN TAKE PLACE ON DIFFERENT DAYS (THE WRITTEN TEST IS PREPARATORY TO THE ORAL TEST), EACH PART OF THE EXAM IS EVALUATED OUT OF THIRTY POINTS, WITH A MINIMUM MARK OF 18/30. THE FINAL MARK IS GIVEN BY THE ARITHMETICAL MEAN OF THE MARKS OBTAINED IN EACH PART OF THE EXAM. WRITTEN TEST STUDENTS: THE WRITTEN EXAM REFERS TO THE PROJECT THAT STUDENTS HAVE TO DEVELOP DURING THE COURSE. IT AIMS TO VERIFY THE DEGREE OF UNDERSTANDING OF THE COURSE CONTENTS RELATED TO THE GLOBAL ECONOMIC PROCESSES AND TO COOPERATIVE/NON-COOPERATIVE GAMES. STUDENTS THAT DO NOT ATTEND THE COURSE: THE WRITTEN TEST, LASTING AN HOUR AND A HALF, IS AIMED AT ASCERTAINING, IN A TRANSPARENT AND OBJECTIVE WAY, THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ACHIEVED BY THE STUDENT ON THE THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONTENTS HIGHLIGHTED IN THE PROGRAM. THIS TEST IS MADE UP OF 20 MULTIPLE CHOICE AND 2 OPEN-ENDED QUESTIONS; EACH MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTION HAS A VALUE OF 1 WHILE THE OPEN ANSWER HAS A VALUE OF 2 POINTS. SINCE THESE ARE MULTIPLE ANSWERS, IT IS SUFFICIENT TO INDICATE ONE, CROSSING THE ONE THAT IS CONSIDERED CORRECT BASED ON THE STUDENT’S KNOWLEDGE. THE SECOND PART IS DEDICATED TO TWO OPEN-ENDED QUESTIONS, FOCUSED ON EXPLORING BUSINESS ISSUES AND EVOLUTIONARY DYNAMICS. THE QUESTIONS ARE SIMILAR TO THOSE PROPOSED DURING IN CLASS LESSONS. THE OBJECTIVE OF THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION IS TO VERIFY THE OVERALL KNOWLEDGE OF THE PROPOSED PROGRAM. ORAL EXAM THE ORAL TEST, THAT IS COMMONLY SUSTAINED BY STUDENTS THAT ATTENDED THE LESSONS AND STUDENTS THAT DO NOT ATTEND THE LESSONS, LASTS ABOUT 20 MINUTES AND CONSISTS OF AN ORAL EXAMINATION, WITH QUESTIONS AND DISCUSSION THAT AIM TO BETTER VERIFY THE LEARNING OUTCOMES ACHIEVED BY INDIVIDUALS. IN THIS WAY, THE DEGREE OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ACHIEVED BY STUDENTS IS ASCERTAINED. |
