 Degree in Philosophy in 1991 at the University of Florence.In 1997 she took her Ph.D. at the University of Salerno, where she also took post-doctoral fellowships (1998 and 1999) and then an Assegno di ricerca.In 2000 she was in Louvain-la-neuve, giving a talk in the Philippe Van Parijs's Colloquium.In 2001/2002 she was at Harvard as Visiting Scholar attending Christine Korgaard's and Thomas Scanlon's seminars.From 1992 to 1995 she collaborated with the Center of Economical and Social Reasearch owned by the Italian trade union "Cgil", working on the foundations of the welfare states and the new forms of protecting workers rights.Professor of "Ethics and Economics", University of Salerno, in 2007/8 e 2008/9
