STARTING FROM THE BASIC CONCEPTS OF ENERGETIC DESIGN OF THE BUILDING AND THE DESIGN OF THE HVAC SYSTEMS, THIS COURSE AIMS TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MOST RECENT TECHNIQUES AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR REDUCING ENERGY CONSUMPTION IN BUILDINGS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE INDOOR ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY. THIS COURSE PROVIDES ALSO THE FUNDAMENTALS NECESSARY TO EVALUATE THE ENERGY REQUIREMENTS OF THE BUILDING-PLANT SYSTEM FOR BOTH NEW BUILDINGS AND FOR EXISTING ONES. |

THE COURSE IS STRUCTURED IN TWO PARTS, ONE ON THEORY AND PRACTICAL IN CLASSROOM AND ONE IN LABORATORY. IN CLASSROOM THE STUDENT SHOULD SOLVE SOME PROBLEMS ABOUT CONDENSATION IN WALLS AND CALCULATION OF ENERGETIC PERFORMANCES OF BUILDINGS TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE INDOOR ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY PARAMETERS. IN LABORATORY THE STUDENT LEARNS TO USE INSTRUMENTS DEVOTED TO ENVIRONMENTAL PARAMETERS AND DAMPNESS MEASUREMENT. |
