Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO DEFINE PLANNING, MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL OF THE BUSINESS PLAN IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF BOTH INTERNATIONAL AND GLOBAL COMPANIES DURING THE COURSE OF THEIR BUSINESS LIFE (INTERNATIONAL START-UP/INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT). THE MAIN ASPECT OF THE COURSE WILL CONCERN THE VISION OF THE BUSINESS PLAN, NOT FROM A STATIC PLANNING VIEWPOINT, BUT USING IT AS AN INFORMATIONAL DASHBOARD FOR A STRATEGIC AND DYNAMIC CONTROL OF THE FIRM.THE STUDENT WILL BE STIMULATED TO ACQUIRE SKILLS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PLAN, AS A TOOL FOR GLOBAL COMPANIES PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT , AS WELL AS ORGANIZATIONS THAT INTEND TO ACQUIRE AN INTERNATIONAL PROJECTION. THE STUDENT WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO CARRY OUT ON THE ANALYSIS, EVALUATION AND CONTROL FOR NEWCO INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS.AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO EVALUATE AND MANAGE INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS, TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION BOTH THE RISKS AND PROBLEMS RELATED TO AN INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE ORGANIZATION AND ON ITS FINANCIAL STRUCTURE.THE STUDENT WILL DEVELOP AN ABILITY TO ANALYZE INTERNATIONAL PROBLEMS, WITH A PROBLEM-SOLVING APPROACH.HE WILL BE ABLE TO DRAW UP AN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PLAN AND CORRECTLY PRESENT IT TO VARIOUS INTERLOCUTORS (PUBLIC BODIES, LENDERS, OTHER COMPANIES) IN THE PROCESS OF EVALUATING NEW BUSINESS VENTURES. IN SUM, HE WILL BE ABLE TO ANALYSE AND COMPREHEND HIGH COMPLEX SITUATIONS.

THE COURSE FOCUSES ON THE FOLLOWING TOPICS:THE STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS FOR INTERNATIONALIZATION.THE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PLAN.ANALYSIS OF INTERNATIONAL MARKETS: RISKS AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT.BUSINESS AND GOVERNANCE MODELS.INTERNATIONAL STRATEGIES.ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL EVALUATION AND FEASIBILITY CHECK OF AN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PLAN.SEARCHING FOR FUNDING SOURCES.DETERMINATION OF OPERATIONAL PLANS AND BUDGETING.ACTIVITIES COORDINATION IN INTERNATIONAL MARKETS.

THE COURSE IS ORGANISED INTO LESSONS, SEMINARS AND PROJECT WORKS.
Verification of learning
THE EXAMINATION IS AN ORAL INTERVIEW OF ABOUT 30 MINUTES ON THE THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONTENT OF THE COURSE, AIMING TO UNDERSTAND, ACCORDING TO THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED, THE EXPLANATORY CAPACITIES OF THE STUDENT, HIS ABILITIES IN TERMS OF PROBLEMS COMPREHENSION AND INDIPENDENT ELABORATION OF SOLUTIONS. EVALUATION IS EXPRESSED IN THIRTY POINTS.
