EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES: KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING. THE STUDENTS WILL LEARN THE ORGANIZATIONAL VARIABLES OF THE ENTERPRISE STRUCTURES. FURTHERMORE THEY WILL UNDERSTAND THE EVOLUTION OF H.R. THEY WILL LEARN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE "SHORT TERM" EVALUATION AND THE" LONG TERM" PLANNING-MANAGEMENT OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING :I) THE STUDENTS WILL UNDERSTAND THE RELATION BETWEEN THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURES. II) THEY WILL UNDERSTAND THE RELATIONS BETWEEN H.R. MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES. MAKING JUDGMENTS: THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO MEASURE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHOICES AND OF THE H.R. MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES. COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS: THE STUDENTS WILL ACQUIRE A TECHNICAL SPEECH WHICH IS NECESSARY FOR THE CONSULTING AND THE MANAGEMENT OF THE ENTERPRISES. FURTHERMORE, THEY WILL PRESENT SHORT REPORTS ON SPECIFIC ISSUES DURING THE COURSE. LEARNING SKILLS: THE STUDENTS WILL COMPREHEND THE KEYS OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL DYMANICS IN THE ENTERPRISES, BY PROVIDING ORGANIZATIONAL MODELS AND THE RELATED ACTIONS OF H.R MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT . |

THE COURSE DEALS WITH TWO TOPICS. THE FIRST ONE IS ABOUT THE ORGANIZATIONAL ELEMENTS OF ENTERPRISES BY CONSIDERING THE FOLLOWING THEMES :A) TRADITIONAL STRUCTURES AS THE OUTCOME OF THE DIVISION OF THE LABOR AND VERTICAL INTEGRATION VERSUS NEW STRUCTURES DEVELOPED ON ORGANIZATIONAL PROCESSES B)ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES IN RELATION TO THE STRUCTURES AND THE MARKET SCENARIO C) DECISIONAL PROCESSES THAT UNDERPIN THE STRATEGIES. THE SECOND TOPIC IS FOCUSED ON THE HUMAN RESOURCES UNDER TWO DIFFERENT APPROACHES.A) AS STRATEGIC RESOURCES IN ANY ORGANIZATION, PARTICULARLY IN THE CASE OF PRIVATE ENTERPRISE B) AS VARIETY OF PRACTISES OF PLANNING, MANAGEMENT, AND CONTROL. |

FOR ACHIEVING THE LEARNING TARGETS IT IS NECESSARY TO PASS AN EXAM EVALUATED THROUGH A 30-POINT SCALE, SIMPLY DIVIDED IN TWO: NON PASSING (0 TO 17), AND PASSING GRADES (18 TO 30 CUM LAUDE) . THE EXAMINATION SHALL CONSIT OF A WRITTEN TEST WHICH HAS TO BE SUPPLEMENTED BY AN ORAL EXAMINTATION THEY CAN TAKE PLACE IN DIFFERENT DAYS. A SUCCESSFULL COMPLETION OF THE WRITTEN TEST IS CONDITION REQUIRED FOR REACHING THE ORAL STAGE. EACH OF THE TWO STAGE CAN BE PASSED WITH A MINIMUM OF 18/30. THE FINAL GRADE IS SIMPLY THE AVERAGE OF THE TWO PARTIAL RESULTS. THE WRITTEN EXAMINATIONN , LASTING APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR AND HALF, IS AIMED AT DETERMINING IN A CLEAR AND UNAMBIGUOUS MANNER THE STUDENTS’ KNOWLEDGE AND THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND BOTH THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONTENTS AS TARGETED IN THE PROGRAMME. FINALLY IT VERIFIES HOW THE STUDENTS CAN APPLY THE THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE. THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION COMPRISES TWO PARTS. THE FIRST PART CONSISTS OF 26 MULTIPLE-CHOICE QUESTIONS : 22 AMONG THEM WITH A SCORE OF 1 AND THE REMAINING 4 WITH A SCORE OF 1,5. THE QUESTIONS SEQUENCE FOLLOWS THE ORDER OF CHAPTERS IN THE TEXTBOOKS: SETS OF FOUR QUESTIONS THAT ARE WORTH, RESPECTIVELY, 1 POINT FOR THE CORRECT RESPONSE AND 1 QUESTION THAT IS WORTH 1 POINT AND HALF FOR THE CORRECT RESPONSE ARE ABOUT I) THE CONFIGURATION OF THE ORGANIZATION II) THE FORM OF ENTERPRISES III) NETWORKS IV) THE ORGANIZATION OF WORK AND HUMAN RESOURCES. FINALLY THE LAST SET ONLY COMPRISES 4 QUESTIONS THAT ARE WORTH 1POINT FOR THE CORRECT REPONSE AND IT IS ABOUT THE FIRM BOUNDARIES AND THE INTERFIRM ORGANIZATION. THE POINTS FOR CORRECT RESPONSE ARE SHOWN IN SQUARE BRACKETS , AT THE END OF THE QUESTION. THERE IS NO PENALTY IN CASE OF UNCORRECT RESPONES.
