THE COURSE IS AIMED AT SHOWING IN A CRITICAL-SCIENTIFIC WAY THE CONTEMPLATIVE AND DYNAMIC NATURE OF THEORETICAL PHILOSOPHY. I. THE STUDENT WILL BE EDUCATED ON THE PROBLEMS OF THEORETICAL PHILOSOPHY: RESEARCH, KNOWLEDGE, QUESTIONING, LEARNING A CRITICAL-SCIENTIFIC METHOD OF STUDY, RESEARCH AND TEACHING. II. THE STUDENT WILL DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO AUTONOMOUSLY FORMULATE ANALYTICAL AND SYNTHETIC ASSESSMENTS OF TOPICS, PROBLEMS AND REASONING EXPOSED IN CLASS AND OF THE RELATED REFERENCE TEXTS, AS WELL AS TO USE THEM DIDACTICALLY. III. THE STUDENT WILL DEEPEN THEIR ABILITY TO AUTONOMOUSLY FORMULATE ANALYTICAL AND SYNTHETIC ASSESSMENTS OF TOPICS, TEXTS, PROBLEMS AND REASONING. IV. THE STUDENT WILL DEEPEN THEIR ABILITY TO VERBALLY PRESENT AND SCHEMATICALLY ILLUSTRATE THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND THE RESULTS OF THEIR RESEARCH, ACCORDING TO A CRITICAL-PHILOSOPHICAL TEACHING METHODOLOGY. V. THE STUDENT WILL DEEPEN THEIR SELF-LEARNING SKILLS, ACCORDING TO A CRITICAL-PHILOSOPHICAL RESEARCH METHODOLOGY, ARTICULATED IN THE ABILITY TO USE TRADITIONAL AND BIBLIOGRAPHIC TOOLS, TO USE THE CLASSICS OF THOUGHT AND RELATED CRITICAL LITERATURE, TO DIALECTICAL AND EXPERIENTIAL OBSERVATION OF REALITY IN ITS PROBLEMATIC NATURE. |

FOLLOWING THE LECTURER’S PRESENTATION AND RESEARCH (FRONTAL LESSONS), THE STUDENT WILL ACQUIRE THE ABILITY TO IDENTIFY SPECIFICITIES OF THE THEMATIC AREA AND THEIR MEANINGS AND PROBLEMS, DEEPENING A HERMENEUTIC METHODOLOGY OF STUDY, RESEARCH AND TEACHING. |
