Objectives
THE COURSE IS AIMED AT EXPERIMENTING DIDACTICALLY IN A CRITICAL-SCIENTIFIC WAY WITH THE CONTEMPLATIVE AND DYNAMIC NATURE OF THEORETICAL PHILOSOPHY.
I. THE STUDENT WILL BE EDUCATED ON THE PROBLEMS OF THEORETICAL PHILOSOPHY: RESEARCH, KNOWLEDGE, QUESTIONING, LEARNING A CRITICAL-SCIENTIFIC METHOD OF STUDY, RESEARCH AND TEACHING, AIMED AT THE ELABORATION AND ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION OF THEIR RESULTS IN A CRITICAL-SCIENTIFIC AND DIALECTIC.
II. THE STUDENT WILL DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO AUTONOMOUSLY FORMULATE ANALYTICAL AND SYNTHETIC ASSESSMENTS OF TOPICS, PROBLEMS AND REASONING EXPOSED IN CLASS AND OF THE RELATED REFERENCE TEXTS, AS WELL AS TO USE THEM DIDACTICALLY THROUGH AN ORAL AND WRITTEN CRITICAL-SCIENTIFIC LESSON ON SELECTED TEXTS AND PROBLEMS.
III. STUDENTS WILL DEEPEN THEIR ABILITY TO AUTONOMOUSLY FORMULATE ANALYTICAL AND SYNTHETIC ASSESSMENTS OF PERSONALLY SELECTED THEMES, TEXTS, PROBLEMS AND REASONING.
IV. THE STUDENT WILL DEEPEN THEIR ABILITY TO PRESENT ORALLY, SCHEMATICALLY AND IN WRITING THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND THE RESULTS OF THEIR RESEARCH, ACCORDING TO A CRITICAL-PHILOSOPHICAL AND DIALECTICAL TEACHING METHODOLOGY.
V. THE STUDENT WILL DEEPEN THEIR SELF-LEARNING SKILLS, ACCORDING TO A CRITICAL-PHILOSOPHICAL RESEARCH METHODOLOGY, ARTICULATED IN THE ABILITY TO USE TRADITIONAL AND BIBLIOGRAPHIC TOOLS, TO USE THE CLASSICS OF THOUGHT AND RELATED CRITICAL LITERATURE, TO DIALECTICAL AND EXPERIENTIAL OBSERVATION OF REALITY IN ITS PROBLEMATIC NATURE, OF ORAL ILLUSTRATION AND WRITTEN EXPOSITION OF THE PROBLEMS ELABORATED ACCORDING TO A CRITICAL-SCIENTIFIC AND DIALECTICAL TEACHING METHOD.

– WRITTEN AND ORAL PHILOSOPHICAL RESEARCH METHODOLOGY AND INTERPRETATION (6 H).
– ANALYSIS OF SOME OF THE MAIN INTERPRETERS OF SCHELLING’S THOUGHT (24 H).
Teaching Methods
ANALYSIS, WRITTEN AND ORAL EXPOSITION, INTERPRETATION OF A PHILOSOPHICAL TEXT WILL INITIATE THE STUDENT TO A THEORETICAL-HERMENEUTICAL CRITICAL METHOD, EVEN IN DIALOGUE WITH MULTIPLE INTERPRETATIONS.
EXPOSURE AND RESEARCH BY THE TEACHER (FRONTAL LESSONS) WILL TRAIN THE STUDENT IN THE CRITICAL-SCIENTIFIC ANALYSIS, IN THE HERMENEUTICS, WRITTEN AND ORAL, OF ORIGINAL CLASSICAL PHILOSOPHICAL-THEORETICAL TEXTS, AS WELL AS IN THE ACQUISITION OF A THEORETICAL-HERMENEUTIC METHOD OF TEACHING AND DIDACTICS IN GENERAL.
THE STUDENT WILL AUTONOMOUSLY FORMULATE ANALYTICAL, SYNTHETIC AND INTERPRETATIVE ASSESSMENTS OF AUTHORS AND TEXTS, DEEPENING A HERMENEUTIC METHODOLOGY OF STUDY, RESEARCH AND TEACHING.

Verification of learning
WRITTEN AND ORAL EXAM (DURATION 30 MINUTES): TEST AIMED AT VERIFYING THE STUDENT’S ABILITY TO PRESENT WRITTEN AND ORAL KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED, FROM A LINGUISTIC, HERMENEUTIC, CRITICAL-SCIENTIFIC AND DIDACTIC POINT OF VIEW, TO AUTONOMOUSLY FORMULATE ANALYTICAL, SYNTHETIC AND INTERPRETATIVE ASSESSMENTS OF THEMES, PROBLEMS AND REASONING EXPOSED IN CLASS AND REFERENCE TEXTS, AS WELL AS HIS METHODOLOGICAL, FORMAL AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND TEACHING SKILLS, DEMONSTRATING THAT HE HAS LEARNED A THEORETICAL-HERMENEUTIC METHODOLOGY FOR DIDACTIC USE.

EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS:
A. AT LEAST ONE PAPER AND ORAL DISSERTATION ON ONE BOOK FROM THE LIST;
B. FOR STUDENTS WITHOUT REGULAR ATTENDANCE, ONE PAPER ON ONE BOOK FROM THE LIST.
