THE COURSE IS AIMED AT SHOWING THE CONTEMPLATIVE AND DYNAMIC NATURE OF THEORETICAL PHILOSOPHY. I. THE STUDENT WILL BE INTRODUCED TO THE PECULIARITIES OF THEORETICAL PHILOSOPHY: RESEARCH, KNOWLEDGE, QUESTIONING, LEARNING A METHOD OF STUDY, RESEARCH AND TEACHING. II. THE STUDENT WILL ACQUIRE THE ABILITY TO AUTONOMOUSLY FORMULATE ANALYTICAL AND SYNTHETIC ASSESSMENTS OF TOPICS, PROBLEMS AND REASONING PRESENTED IN CLASS AND OF THE RELATED REFERENCE TEXTS, AS WELL AS TO USE THEM DIDACTICALLY. III. THE STUDENT WILL BECOME ABLE TO AUTONOMOUSLY FORMULATE ANALYTICAL AND SYNTHETIC ASSESSMENTS OF TOPICS, TEXTS, PROBLEMS AND REASONING. IV. THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO PRESENT ORALLY AND SCHEMATICALLY ILLUSTRATE HIS KNOWLEDGE AND THE RESULTS OF HIS RESEARCH, ACCORDING TO A CRITICAL-PHILOSOPHICAL TEACHING METHODOLOGY. V. THE STUDENT WILL BECOME CAPABLE OF STARTING SELF-LEARNING, ACCORDING TO A CRITICAL-PHILOSOPHICAL RESEARCH METHODOLOGY, ARTICULATED IN THE ABILITY TO USE TRADITIONAL AND BIBLIOGRAPHIC TOOLS, TO USE THE CLASSICS OF THOUGHT AND RELATED CRITICAL LITERATURE, TO DIALECTICAL AND EXPERIENTIAL OBSERVATION OF REALITY IN ITS PROBLEMATIC NATURE. |

ORAL EXAM (DURATION 20 MINUTES): TEST AIMED AT VERIFYING THE STUDENT’S ABILITY TO ORAL EXPOSITION OF ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, FROM A LINGUISTIC, HERMENEUTIC, CRITICAL AND DIDACTIC POINT OF VIEW, TO AUTONOMOUSLY FORMULATE ANALYTICAL AND SYNTHETIC EVALUATIONS OF THEMES, PROBLEMS AND REASONING EXPOSED IN CLASS AND OF TEXTS OF REFERENCE, AS WELL AS HIS METHODOLOGICAL AND FORMAL RESEARCH AND TEACHING SKILLS. EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS: A. TRANSCRIPTION OF ONE LECTURE; B. STUDENTS’ NOTES FROM LECTURES; C. THIS TEXTBOOK: L. PAREYSON, ONTOLOGIA DELLA LIBERTÀ, EINAUDI, TORINO 1995; D. FOR STUDENTS WITHOUT REGULAR ATTENDANCE, THIS OTHER BOOK: F. TOMATIS, IL DIO VIVENTE, MORCELLIANA, BRESCIA 2022, PARTE II. GRADE GRADUATION CRITERIA: BASED ON THE FOLLOWING PROGRESSIVE SKILLS DEMONSTRATED IN THE EXAM: 1. COMPLETENESS (18), 2. METHOD (21), 3. EXPOSITION (24), 4. ANALYSIS (27), 5. SYNTHESIS ( 30), 6.
