THE COURSE IS AIMED AT DIDACTIC EXPERIMENTATION WITH THE CONTEMPLATIVE AND DYNAMIC NATURE OF THEORETICAL PHILOSOPHY. I. THE STUDENT WILL BE INTRODUCED TO THE PECULIARITIES OF THEORETICAL PHILOSOPHY: RESEARCH, KNOWLEDGE, QUESTIONING, LEARNING A METHOD OF STUDY, RESEARCH AND TEACHING, AIMED AT THE ELABORATION AND ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION OF THEIR RESULTS. II. THE STUDENT WILL ACQUIRE THE ABILITY TO AUTONOMOUSLY FORMULATE ANALYTICAL AND SYNTHETIC ASSESSMENTS OF TOPICS, PROBLEMS AND REASONING PRESENTED IN CLASS AND OF THE RELATED REFERENCE TEXTS, AS WELL AS TO USE THEM DIDACTICALLY THROUGH AN ORAL AND WRITTEN REPORT ON A SELECTED TEXT AND PROBLEM. III. THE STUDENT WILL BECOME CAPABLE OF AUTONOMOUSLY FORMULATING ANALYTICAL AND SYNTHETIC ASSESSMENTS OF PERSONALLY SELECTED THEMES, TEXTS, PROBLEMS AND REASONING. IV. THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO PRESENT ORALLY, SCHEMATICALLY AND IN WRITING HIS KNOWLEDGE AND THE RESULTS OF HIS RESEARCH, ACCORDING TO A CRITICAL-PHILOSOPHICAL TEACHING METHODOLOGY. V. THE STUDENT WILL BECOME CAPABLE OF STARTING SELF-LEARNING, ACCORDING TO A CRITICAL-PHILOSOPHICAL RESEARCH METHODOLOGY, ARTICULATED IN THE ABILITY TO USE TRADITIONAL AND BIBLIOGRAPHIC TOOLS, TO USE THE CLASSICS OF THOUGHT AND RELATED CRITICAL LITERATURE, TO DIALECTICAL AND EXPERIENTIAL OBSERVATION OF REALITY IN ITS PROBLEMATIC NATURE, OF ORAL ILLUSTRATION AND WRITTEN EXPOSITION OF THE PROBLEMS ELABORATED ACCORDING TO A DIALECTICAL TEACHING METHOD. |

EXPOSURE AND RESEARCH BY THE TEACHER (FRONTAL LESSONS) WILL TRAIN THE STUDENT IN THE CRITICAL-SCIENTIFIC ANALYSIS, WRITTEN AND ORAL, OF PHILOSOPHICAL-THEORETICAL TEXTS, AS WELL AS IN THE ACQUISITION OF A THEORETICAL-HERMENEUTIC METHOD OF TEACHING AND DIDACTICS IN GENERAL. ANALYSIS, WRITTEN AND ORAL EXPOSITION OF A PHILOSOPHICAL TEXT WILL INITIATE THE STUDENT TO A CRITICAL THEORETICAL-HERMENEUTIC METHOD, EVEN IN COMPARISON WITH MULTIPLE INTERPRETATIONS, DEVELOPING HIS RESEARCH, CRITICAL, HERMENEUTIC AND TEACHING SKILLS. |

WRITTEN AND ORAL EXAM (DURATION 30 MINUTES): TEST AIMED AT VERIFYING THE STUDENT’S ABILITY TO PRESENT WRITTEN AND ORAL KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED, FROM A LINGUISTIC, HERMENEUTICAL, CRITICAL AND DIDACTIC POINT OF VIEW, TO AUTONOMOUSLY FORMULATE ANALYTICAL AND SYNTHETIC EVALUATIONS OF THEMES, PROBLEMS AND REASONING EXPOSED TO LESSON AND REFERENCE TEXTS, AS WELL AS HIS METHODOLOGICAL AND FORMAL RESEARCH AND TEACHING SKILLS. EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS: A. AT LEAST ONE PAPER AND ORAL DISSERTATION ON ONE BOOK FROM THE LIST; B. FOR STUDENTS WITHOUT REGULAR ATTENDANCE, ONE PAPER ON ONE BOOK FROM THE LIST.
