Objectives
FORENSIC MEDICINE: THE COURSE AIMS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE FORMATION OF THE FUTURE OPERATOR OF THE MEDICAL PROFESSION, BY INTEGRATING ITS BIOMEDICAL KNOWLEDGE WITH SOCIAL-LEGAL ONES.

OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE: PROVIDE THE KNOWLEDGE ON THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF WORKERS, THE MAIN TECHNOPATHIES.

PRINCIPLES OF FORENSIC MEDICINE: DEFINITION. PURPOSE AND METHOD OF FORENSIC MEDICINE. CAUSAL RELATIONSHIP. FORENSIC MEDICINE AND CRIMINAL LAW: GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF CRIMINAL LAW. CRIMINAL RESPONSABILITY. CRIMES AGAINST LIFE AND PERSONAL SAFETY: MURDER. OFFENCES AND PERSONAL INJURIES. FORENSIC MEDICINE IN CIVIL LAW: LEGAL CAPACITY, CAPACITY TO ACT. GENERAL DOCTRINE OF RESPONSABILITY. DAMAGE TO PERSON. PATRIMONIAL DAMAGE AND NON-PATRIMONIAL DAMAGE. RIGHT TO HEALTH. BIOLOGICAL DAMAGE. EVALUATION OF DAMAGE TO PERSON. INSURANCES. Teaching Methods
FORENSIC MEDICINE:
THE COURSE CONSISTS OF 24 HOURS OF LESSONS IN CHARACTER SIX MONTHS AND PROVIDES FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT BY THE STUDENTS WHO ATTEND PAPERS ON TOPICS OF ETHICAL AND MEDICO-LEGAL AND ETHICAL.

Verification of learning
FINAL ORAL PROOF, WHICH TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION TO LECTURES AND CONTEXTUAL READING OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS DISTRIBUTED (PAPER AND SLIDES), WITH THE ELABORATION OF A WRITTEN REPORT.
EVALUATION CRITERIA OF THE EXAMINATION WILL BE:
1)ABILITY TO ARTICULATE A COMPLEX DISCOURSE;
2)ABILITY TO SPEAK CLEARLY AND WITH APPROPRIATE LANGUAGE;
3)ABILITY TO CONTEXTUALIZE AND UNDERSTAND THE MEDICAL ISSUES INCLUDED IN A LEGAL CONTEXT;
4)ABILITY TO DISCERN THE IMPORTANCE OF MEANINGFUL DATA WITH A VIEW TO THEIR POSSIBLE APPLICATION.
