| The aim of the course is to provide students with a general overview of the chemical basis of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. The student will be able to understand the classical medicinal chemistry approaches of lead discovery and lead optimization. Moreover, the student will be aware of the role of the chemical properties of drug in the determination of its pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics and apply them in the development of new chemical entities. |
