THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE A FIRST APPROACH TO PHYSICAL PROBLEMS IN HEALTH CARE. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: THE COURSE INTENDS TO PROVIDE A CONCISE AND SUITABLE KNOWLEDGE OF THE BASICS OF MEDICAL PHYSICS, WITH APPLICATIONS IN DIAGNOSTIC AND/OR THERAPEUTIC USE OF IONIZING RADIATION, ULTRASOUND AND MAGNETIC FIELDS. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: THE COURSE AIMS TO MAKE THE STUDENT ABLE TO ASSIMILATE THE THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE AND TO APPLY IT TO PRACTICAL PROBLEMS OF MEDICAL PHYSICS SUCH AS THE MEASUREMENT OF THE ABSORBED DOSE. |

THE EXAM INCLUDES A WRITTEN AND AN ORAL EXAM. TO ACCESS THE ORAL EXAM, STUDENTS MUST PASS THE WRITTEN TEST WITH A MINIMUM GRADE OF 18/30. - THE WRITTEN TEST IS AIMED AT EVALUATING THE ABILITY UNDERSTANDING THE PROBLEMS PROPOSED DURING THE COURSE; THE ABILITY TO CORRECTLY APPLY THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE. DURING THE TEST IT IS NOT PERMITTED TO CONSULT NOTES, PHOTOCOPIES AND / OR TEXTS DOWNLOADED BY THE INTERNET; IT IS NOT PERMITTED TO USE PC OR SMART PHONE; IT IS ALLOWED TO USE THE SCIENTIFIC CALCULATOR. - THE ORAL EXAM IS AIMED AT DEEPENING THE LEVEL OF THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE, THE AUTONOMY OF ANALYSIS AND JUDGMENT, AS WELL AS THE STUDENT'S EXHIBITION SKILLS. THE LEVEL OF EVALUATION OF THE TESTS TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THE EFFICIENCY OF THE METHODS USED, THE COMPLETENESS AND ACCURACY OF THE ANSWERS, AS WELL AS THE CLARITY IN THE PRESENTATION. THE MINIMUM LEVEL OF EVALUATION (18) IS ASSIGNED WHEN THE STUDENT, WHILE DEMONSTRATING THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN TOPICS COVERED IN THE COURSE, SHOWS UNCERTAINTIES AND HAS LIMITED KNOWLEDGE OF THEM. THE MAXIMUM LEVEL (30) IS AWARDED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES A COMPLETE AND IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF THE REQUIRED TOPICS, ILLUSTRATED WITH LANGUAGE PROPERTIES, DEMONSTRATING LOGICAL - DEDUCTIVE AND SYNTHESIS CAPACITY, ARGUMENT SKILLS AND JUDGMENT AUTONOMY IN PROPOSING THE ARGUMENT AS REQUESTED. THE FINAL GRADE, EXPRESSED IN THIRTIETHS WITH POSSIBLE PRAISE, IS OBTAINED AS THE AVERAGE OF THE TWO TESTS. THE LODE WILL BE ATTRIBUTED TO STUDENTS WHO REACH THE MAXIMUM VOTE OF 30/30 AND DEMONSTRATE TO BE ABLE TO APPLY AUTONOMLY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ACQUIRED ALSO IN CONTEXTS OTHER THAN THOSE PROPOSED TO LESSONS. |
