Objectives
TO PROMOTE, THROUGH AN ARTICULATED KNOWLEDGE OF THE HISTORICAL PROCESSES OF MODERN AGE EUROPE, A BETTER AND MORE ADVANCED UNDERSTANDING OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL, INSTITUTIONAL AD SOCIAL-ECONOMICAL GROUNDS OF ACTUAL SOCIAL LIFE.

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN HISTORICAL CONCEPTS, UNDERSTANDING OF HISTORICAL ORIGINS OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS IN THE MODERN EUROPE.

THE COURSE AIMS TO ANALYZE THE CONCEPTS OF "NATION" AND "FATHERLAND" AS AN EXPRESSION OF THE SENSE OF BELONGING TO A COMMUNITY. THE CASE OF THE KINGDOM OF NAPLES IS EMBLEMATIC OF A FEELING OF "NEAPOLITAN HOMELAND" THAT IS BUILT DURING THE PERIOD FROM THE MIDDLE AGES TO THE NINETEENTH CENTURY AND WHICH, ON THE THRESHOLD OF UNITY OF ITALY, WILL JOIN THE EMERGENCE OF THE FEELING OF BELONGING TO "ITALIAN COUNTRY".
