THE COURSE AIMS TO ANALYZE THE CONCEPTS OF "NATION" AND "FATHERLAND" AS AN EXPRESSION OF THE SENSE OF BELONGING TO A COMMUNITY. THE CASE OF THE KINGDOM OF NAPLES IS EMBLEMATIC OF A FEELING OF "NEAPOLITAN HOMELAND" THAT IS BUILT DURING THE PERIOD FROM THE MIDDLE AGES TO THE NINETEENTH CENTURY AND WHICH, ON THE THRESHOLD OF UNITY OF ITALY, WILL JOIN THE EMERGENCE OF THE FEELING OF BELONGING TO "ITALIAN COUNTRY". |
